Christmas Away from Home

This house was very beautiful and large enough to accommodate my big family. We came all the way from Georgia to be with family in Michigan for the holidays. If I ever come into town again, I’ll definitely be looking to see if the house is available before anything else.

We had a wonderful time at the house for the bachelorette/bridal party! The hot water tank was fixed but not turned back on. The owners quickly resolved this while we were out for dinner. Great stay!

Bachelorette review

Overall everything was great and exactly how it looked on the site. However there was an issue with bugs/insects throughout the house. There was also extremely low water pressure in the upstairs bathroom

Careesa, we appreciate your feedback and are disappointed as we read your review to other guests. "Overall everything was great and exactly how it looked on the site." this would equal 5 stars. we are real humans, with a real home that can experience unforeseen issues. "However there was an issue with bugs/insects throughout the house" Please Note: this vague statement could cause guests to believe we have a real problem with all kinds of bugs and insects. Future guests, please know we treat our home for ants and other bugs such as spiders, "There was also extremely low water pressure in the upstairs bathroom" we have corrected this very minor issue with the screen of the faucet having particle build up. We hope other guest understand that 5 stars doesn't mean perfect, it means we delivered on what was advertised. Thank You Again for your Feedback

This property is beautiful and very cute. It was great for our Bach night. The property lives up to the photos but the beds are uncomfortable and the neighborhood is LOUD at night. I did not sleep well. the upstairs area is uncomfortable in higher Michigan weather. none of the neon lights were working, several lamps were also not working in the living area where we spent most of our night. However the host was very kind and went above and beyond to communicate and message me quickly about any issues we had.
