The host contacted me to inform me of something that wasn’t up to his standard, but it did not affect our stay in any way. The house was super cute and clean - perfect for my two friends and me. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this property!

Cute and clean

The house was very cute, exactly as stated on the listing. Very clean and close to everything. Bed was very comfortable and the hot water plentiful! Would stay again.

We came to Albert Lee to visit an elderly friend of ours. Was so nice to bring her over to the house to have dinner and visit. House was clean and adorable. Even had hand rails on front porch stairs. Perfect for our elderly friend.

Family time

This VRBO worked great for us. In town to visit family but we like our own space at the end of the day. Perfect size and very clean and comfortable. We’ll be back!

Short Stay

This house was perfect for our weekend stay in Albert Lea. We booked this house with anticipation of 4 people, ended up with an extra person. The second mattress in one of the bedrooms was perfect! We used it in the living room and it was cozy!

Nice little getaway

We enjoyed our stay here. We mostly stayed inside, but went for one walk around the neighborhood, as well as to the nearby state park. The neighborhood was quiet in terms of people and traffic. It's near a little industrial area, but we were there on a weekend, so it was not very active (not sure about weekdays). There are train tracks just a few blocks away. The trains blow their horns, including at night. We enjoyed it (I live not far from tracks myself). But they were loud enough to wake us up one night. They were definitely not constant, though. We were aware of maybe 5 or 6 trains a day, and I only heard it one night while we slept (out of 2). So, no issues from us here, but if you struggle with this type of noise, be aware. The place was pretty well stocked for cooking, had coffee, etc. The bed and living room were comfortable. The larger bedroom has good blackout curtains, which were necessary for some very bright lights just outside. The second bedroom did not, and looked like daytime at night. But we did not use that room. The bathroom was nice, and the kitchen spacious. There was a nice porch, which seemed great for warmer weather, but we did not use it. We enjoyed the art in the place, which was a little quirky and all over the place,thematically. Something for everyone. The checkout instructions were simple - pile the towels, run the dishwasher. Nothing excessive that made me wonder what the cleaning fee is for, which is one of my big annoyances.

We had an issue getting into the house as we hadn’t received anything from the host for the door keypad. But we went to have supper and he messaged and all was good. Property was great, very clean and cozy. Was just what we needed for a weekend away!
