This home, formerly known as the Mission Home and Cottage on Main, comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. Enjoy a cozy stay with modern updates and a convenient location for all your adventures. Perfect for families!

Getting Around:
Step outside and you're just a short stroll from the world-famous Lava Hot Springs pools, perfect for a relaxing soak any time of year (approx. 5-minute walk). Explore the charming downtown area, brimming with unique shops, restaurants, and ice cream parlors, all within easy walking distance. Grab a delicious meal at one of the local eateries, offering everything from casual fare to family-friendly dining. For the adventurous, the Lava Hot Springs water park is also nearby, providing endless fun for kids of all ages (approx. 10-minute walk).

Other Things to Note:
Important Information for Your Stay at Whitewater: Check-in is at 4:00 PM. Please check out by 11:00 AM on your departure day. Free parking is available on the street.. For the safety and comfort of all guests, smoking is not permitted inside the house. We provide linens, towels, and basic essentials for your convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped for your use, and we kindly request that you clean up after preparing your meals. No pets allowed. No access to laundry, basement, or shed.

Very cute, well equipped home with comfy beds. Loved how close it was to walk to hot springs and Main St. We did a girls weekend and it worked out great. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves that we need to make it a yearly trip and this is the place to stay!

Perfect location and lovely home!

Our group of 3 loved our girl's trip to Lava Hot Springs. I agree with the other reviews, the location is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The house was very clean and beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend this rental!

Great stay in a great location

We spent four nights. The home was beautifully remodeled but kept the old home charm of Lava. The host was very responsive. I would love to book this home again next year for our annual stay.

Nice place

This is a good alternative to tge local hotels, its private and cozy. Like all places in Lava, its an old property, but the inside has been updated nicely and its located in a quiet place. It was overall clean, but whoever cleans does not clean everything, the refrigerator had sticky spills and there was food under one of the beds. The biggest pain was just that no one does snow removal on the outside of tge property so the walks were covered with snow and ice. Overall, a good property, and a good value.

Lovely cottage, perfect location

Location can’t be beat - right off Main Street and allows for easy walking access to the entire town. Accessing the property was incredibly easy with plenty of parking. Clean, very thoughtful in ambiance, and well appointed. This property makes it easy to stay connected or completely unplug and unwind. There are also a few games available which came in handy for some fun evenings! We had a group of 4 teens and 2 adults and had plenty of space to socialize or find a quiet spot to retreat. Communication with guest services manager was clear, effortless and instant. Their recommendations for local fare were spot on - Mark at The Chuck Wagon is fantastic (delicious food too)! We will for sure be back!!
