220 secluded acres adjacent to the 36,000 acre Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, with no neighbors, no traffic, and no noise. This waterfront one bedroom tiny cabin has one queen bed and a queen sofa sleeper. Outside is a fire pit and screened porch. Canoes and kayaks are included in booking. Pontoon boat and golf cart are available for rent during your stay. For your safety, there are security cameras on the exterior of the cabin.

We are a working farm and there may be farming activities going on during your stay. You can ask to help feed the deer during your stay.

My husband I were looking for a secluded cabin for quietness. This place was exactly what we were looking for. Words cannot describe this beautiful place. Hosts were amazing treated us like family. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed. We fed deer, fished and canoed. Mr Bill even took us on a sunset cruise and gave a bottle of wine. A DELICIOUS pie was baked for us as well. Berries came from their farm. Will definitely be coming back. If you are wanting a secluded place a cabin. This is definitely the place 1000%

Highly recommend! We even brought the people we were visiting in the area to the cabin to hang out. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Just as described and the perfect location for our family reunion. We rented two of the cabins, the three bedroom and the tiny cabin, and it worked out great. Love the location and the seclusion in the woods. Great stay - thank you!

Stayed in the tiny cabin for our 29th anniversary. Cabin was very spacious and perfect for the 2 of us. One of the best places we’ve stayed and will definitely book again. The property is well kept and scenic with lots to explore. One of the best places we’ve stayed and will definitely book again.

This was the coziest cabin and perfect for two people. We enjoyed the canoes and catching a few fish. Would definitely come back again. The hosts were wonderful and very quick to respond to questions. The golf cart is a must if you’re staying on the property.

We live on this beautiful secluded property year round. We moved back to the farm in 2018 after raising our four kids in Abita Springs. We are both retired and live in the Lake House on our 10 acre lake with our two dogs, Charlie and Mia, two cats, Wibby and Archie, our 4 chickens and twenty white tailed deer.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Our 220 acre paradise adjoins the 36,000+ acre Bogue Chitto Wildlife Refuge and fronts on the Pearl River Navigational Canal. The nearest neighbor is a mile away as the crow flies. We are located at the end of Magee Mahner Road in Pearl River, LA. From mid May to July we have ripe blueberries ready for picking and the deer start having their baby fawns at the same time. We have miles of trails to enjoy for walking, hiking, or birding, along with fishing and hunting on the property during the state seasons. We have an 8 person pontoon fishing boat as well as a golf cart for rental to enhance your use of the property. Swimming and/or a picnic at the beach is always a great activity. Sunrise at the Point is another enjoyable event.
