Making Memories with Daddy

The cabin was fabulous. So calming and peaceful. Just what we wanted to take our Dad fishing possibly for the last time. He said it looks like heaven from the porch. Would love to come back here over and over again. The cabin has all anyone would ever need: kitchen supplies, towels, linens, etc. Breezeway is great.

Peaceful Haven

The cabin is tucked away from majority of people in the small community of Stonewall, on private property, with the range of Stonewall Mountains to the west, to the south is grass land, small ponds, then mountains further south and mountains to the east. So beautiful and peaceful to hear natures creatures. The cabin is cozy, homey, like down to earth people lived here. It was a life- giving enrichment. Many deep conversations were shared between the breezeway and kitchen table. We've been renting cabins for 2 years and finally found one that had everything a family needed or desired. Very refreshing place to stay! Thank you, Wallis and Lisa for sharing your treasured haven! Down to earth people! Thank you so much, God Bless you both. Jim & Connie

Stonewall

Property wonderful, my husband and I loved the home, it was definitely home away from home. Fished the lakes and caught several. The Shopping bag, excellent food. Gurlitos pizza excellent. Picket wire good BBQ and ice cream. Highly recommend steak at the Country club in La Veta, very reasonably priced. Loved all the wild life right off the wrap around porch. Went to see the Apishapa arch, need 4 wheel drive, really enjoyed the history of it. List goes on. Took several day trips. Thank you Willis and Lisa.

Impressive!

It was a great place to stay! Very homey. Had a lot more amenities than most vacation rentals. Enough rags, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, bedding. This host has thought of everything. Lots of extras! You will not be disappointed.....
