Host is very communicative and available if needed. Property was perfect for our family to celebrate the holiday together. We enjoyed playing ping pong and pool. We rented a jet ski and the dock is perfect for hanging out and enjoying the lake. Thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch and the swing. The path down to the lake is steep in areas, but I knew that from reading the other reviews and we had no issues navigating. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall, the home and amenities were terrific. We had to clear out a LOT of cobwebs from the decks & dock, the big tube float was falling apart, the dock had old fishing gear and an empty beer can on it. Just looked like we were the first people to stay there in a while and the cleaning was concentrated inside (which was very nice). It's a beautiful home, and after cleaning, was perfect for our group.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the home and its amenities and that it was a great fit for your group. And as you know, your reservation was back to back which is why we couldn't offer early check-in due to the fact we were in the middle of peak season. We appreciate you mentioning the outdoor areas as well. While we do our best to keep the decks and dock clean, being on the lake and surrounded by nature means cobwebs, pollen, leaves, and other outdoor elements can appear very quickly—sometimes even within hours of a cleaning. That said, the old fishing gear and an empty can are certainly not the experience we want our guests to have, and we've addressed those items with our team but certainly not a reason to lower a review.

Beautiful house inside. Very well maintained and decorated. This property was sold recently and just needs the owners to do a little cleaning outside. Boat dock area needs to be washed and chairs cleaned. Screened porch needs to be swept and spiders webs taken down. Otherwise a nice place.

This place is an outstanding get away located on the north side of the lake. Perfect location for cruising and enjoying the lake life. It was just two of us and our dogs but the layout is set up perfectly for two families with an entire floor for the kids!! They allow dogs which is a huge benefit !! So if you love to bring your pets and enjoy all the lake has to offer this place can’t be beat!!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location and found our team responsive. Cleanliness is always a top priority for us, and we’re sorry to hear it didn’t fully meet your expectations during this stay. We’ll be reviewing this with our team to ensure improvements. In the future, please reach out to the host with any issues so we can remedy them immediately. Regarding the tubes and rafts, we appreciate you pointing this out. From time to time, certain outdoor items are replaced due to wear, and while we do our best to keep photos updated, we’ll make sure our listing reflects the current inventory more accurately moving forward. Other than a differing in colors of tubes/kayaks, we would love to know what discrepancy you are referring to since the tube & kayaks were available during your stay. Again, in the future if you aren't able to locate something, reach out! Your input helps us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again for a smoother experience.
