We stayed at The Cove for our first family trip to Gulf Shores! We had our two small children with us ages 4yrs and 18 months. The condo was clean, the Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, fridge was clean with an ice maker and the AC worked great. Bathrooms were clean and stocked well with towels and washcloths. The main level bed was comfortable! There were extra blankets and pillows and We used the sofa bed for the kids. It didnât have much cushion to it, but I donât expect 5 star from a fold out bed. The spiral staircase was neat! Thereâs a cute room upstairs that would definitely be great for older kids or if you're traveling with friends or family. It is an extremely narrow steep staircase and the railing above has wide gaps ( thinking of young children). The pool was decent ( kids enjoyed that), groceries and yummy coffee are just next door. I think our only mentioned draw back was the length of walk to the beach. I was expecting a literal walk out of the condo, walk across the street and your there! But you had to walk at least 2 blocks to the light and cross the street at the public access. Having kids with us we ended up driving and paying for parking- which was very reasonably priced and right at the entrance. The beach was lovely and not crowded. Check in and check out was super easy and Renee answered all my questions very promptly. Overall it was a good trip with good memories
