Cataumet Cottage

I so enjoyed my time at Cataumet Cottage. The space clearly has been recently renovated and was spotless on my arrival. Well appointed home with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Being able to walk down by the water was wonderful and nothing can beat the view from the front porch

Secluded sanctuary

Bring your meals and settle in you will have the covered porch, the picnic table or the walk to the island for a waterside meal to choose from. Want to eat out; it's a bikeride to two restaurants up the street, mini golf, icecream, bumperboats and a coffee shop! The house has every comfort of home, maybe better, because it has the quintessential cape house feel. 15 minutes to shopping, ocean beaches, you name it. The birds here are absolutely amazing: herons, red tail, and sog birds. I had wished they had a water craft to borrow and never got a call back when I sent a message to the service, there was the typical back of the door dirt and mold in the window sills, but hardly a worry when everything is as picture perfect in every other way as this was. Did I mention Central Air!? Never used it as the breeze off the water was a delight!
