Sunny Side Up is situated on the second floor of the Sunny Side Saloon, a historic building with a rich past. Originally serving as a Union Army Commissary during the Civil War, it later transformed into a cherished local establishment known as the Sunny Side Saloon. Here, JH Kearns once sold his own pre-prohibition whisky, often packaged in ceramic jugs. Located in downtown Lebanon, in the heart of Kentucky, Sunny Side stands proudly on the historic Bourbon Trail.

Sunny Side is located in downtown Lebanon in the heart of Kentucky on the historic Bourbon Trail.

Historic downtown Lebanon has charming buildings, restaurants, and local shops that are all accessible by foot from Sunny Side. Several buildings are adorned with murals that make great photographs and selfies. Lebanon even offers a self-guided mural tour.
For those visiting rural Kentucky for the first time, the downtown area is not a 24-hour party scene. It is a quiet destination where shops and restaurants close relatively early. Some are closed on Sundays and Mondays entirely. If you need groceries or a convenience store, you will have to drive (unless you are there when the Farmerâs Marker is open). Our House Manual provides location and contact information for local restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores, etc⊠We think you will enjoy what Lebanon has to offer, all from the comfort of a unique historic location!
