Warm and Sunny Canal front Retreat with heated pool and pool table!
Perfect family friendly destination! We love dining al fresco style beside the pool on the oversized lanai. Relaxing on the lounge chairs is also a favorite spot of ours to hang out and unwind. Patio features electric heated pool, tv, lounge chairs, adirondack chairs, foosball table, bar, grill, and dining table.
Inside boasts a newly remodeled open concept kitchen with seating for six at the long island. You'll have everything you need to prepare meals. Living room area has a 65" smart tv and cable, pool table, shuffle board table, and 2 pac man arcade machines. Master bedroom has a king size bed, cable tv, and private bathroom. There is a guest bedroom with a queen bed and another guest bedroom with two twin beds. Guest bedrooms both have wifi enabled tv and share a common bathroom.
The boat lift may be available upon request. The boat dock has adirondack chairs for sitting by the canal and fishing or just enjoying some quiet downtime. No fishing license is needed to fish from dock.
This home is located about 30 minutes from the beaches of Ft. Myers and Sanibel. 30 minutes from Ft. Myers airport (RSW). The "downtown" area of Cape Coral is a 5 minute drive and has several fabulous restaurants to choose from as well as many bars, most feature nightly live music and happy hour specials in the late afternoon.
Hurricane Ian has put a bit of a damper on some of the attractions we would normally recommend, but there are still plenty of things to do in the area. Ft. Myers beach has definitely changed but it is open. Food trucks are now parked where Times Square once stood, a few restaurants have reopened, but there are still many damaged buildings. Sanibel beaches are still closed as is the beloved yacht club beach in Cape Coral. I do recommend visiting the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, Six Mile Cypress Slough, Four Mile Eco park, Downtown Ft. Myers (Cool shops and good restaurants), Fleamasters flea market, and Lakes Park, just name a few.
