Not the Best Choice
I’ll start with the positives. There were no bugs, roaches or bedbugs. The air conditioner worked. The view from the balcony is great. And access to beach is easy to get to. Condo is a stretch - maybe old hotel efficiency. Sadly, that is all the nice things I can say. The whole building smells. The building is old and shows. The room itself was a huge disappointment. Holes in the bathroom ceiling just had toilet paper shoved in them. The carpet is ripped. The lamp shades are all ripped. There are zero utensils and not a complete set for 4 of any dishes. The sliding glass door does not open and close easily and has been broken long enough they just added a different lock on it. The Wi-Fi does not work. The pools pictured are closed and you are not allowed access to the water park pictured. I had to email the day of check in to get check in codes because nothing had been sent. Slow responses from the rental company. And even though we pay a big cleaning fee, it was not clean. Sand and dirt piled against the wall in the bathroom. Dust and dirty vents. Beds at least seemed clean but are saggy. Stove is rusty in places and does not look trustworthy to use. The water pressure is nonexistent and it didn’t matter where you set the temperature, the water would ebb from cold to scalding the entire time you shower - even when you don’t turn the hot water on.
If you just want somewhere to sleep, then this room would be okay but not worth the price. It needs some serious updating.
