You’ll enjoy three private floors all to yourself and your favorite people. Suites One and Two connect through a wide hallway, and upstairs you’ll find a spacious third-floor loft with rooftop deck access—the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening cocktails.

1st Floor: Fully stocked galley kitchen, king bedroom, living room w/ 50" TV, full bathroom w/ tub & shower.

2nd Floor: Fully stocked galley kitchen, two queen bedrooms, living room w/ 50" TV, full bathroom w/ tub & shower.

3rd Floor: Large living room w/ 50" TV, queen pull-out sofa bed, rooftop deck with patio seating.

Beds: 1 king (12" memory foam), 2 queens (12" memory foam), 1 queen pull-out sofa—all with quality linens & comforters.

Baths: Two full bathrooms w/ tub + shower, hairdryer, linens, shampoo & conditioner. (Note: 2nd-floor tub fills slowly but is fully functional.)

Entertainment: Multiple smart TVs (27"–55"), high-speed Verizon Fios fiber optic internet, streaming apps (log in with your cable provider).

Kitchen: Pots, pans, knives, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, dinnerware, drip coffee maker, premium beans, grinder, tea.

Climate: Central air + forced heat.

Parking: Two free private spaces directly behind the house. For extra cars, AGH’s parking garage is nearby (~$24/day). Street parking requires a pass.

You will occasionally see or hear Allegheny General Hospital’s helicopter—it’s part of the city atmosphere (and many guests find it exciting to watch!).

You may encounter neighbors experiencing homelessness. Please approach with empathy; your stay supports local revitalization and small businesses.

I'm from a small rural town about 90 minutes away from the city and I've called Pittsburgh my home for the past 25 years. Growing up in a small community makes me appreciate Pittsburgh's "big little" city vibe. Not only for the sporting events, but history and culture can be found around every corner—-from East Allegheny (Deutschtown) to the North Shore and The Strip District to Mt. Washington—there is something for everyone. I have been hosting since August 2022 and I have found creating an inviting, warm and relaxing space for our guests to enjoy is so rewarding. Comfy and cozy are my favorite adjectives. —-I'm just a little obsessed about it. My husband and I are parents to an 14 year old hockey player we adore and most weekends we are cheering him on at his games. Yoga is my therapy, I "attempt" playing the piano, and wine and conversation make me happy.

Originally settled by German immigrants in the mid-19th century, Deutschtown has retained much of its cultural heritage, with rows of houses and some grand historic homes reflecting its rich past. It’s also home to Pittsburgh’s oldest parks, providing green spaces for relaxing strolls, outdoor activities, and community events.

Our property is especially convenient for anyone visiting Allegheny General Hospital—the hospital is located directly across the street from our parking lot. This makes the home a great option for families visiting patients or for traveling healthcare professionals. Street parking is generally accessible and free with validation, and additional parking is available in the hospital’s lot if needed.

Overall, we were drawn to Loraine Street for its historic beauty, unbeatable convenience, and walkable charm, making it the perfect neighborhood for our row house and for sharing the best of Pittsburgh with our guests.
