Excellent Retreat!

What a lovely property in a great location on Fripp! Close to the family pools is ideal if you have kids. Quiet and gorgeous views from porches. Extremely clean and well appointed home. Easy and clear communication from owner. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and are looking forward to another trip down to the island at the Misty Breeze!

Beautiful Views

My children, age 17 and 19 and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Each morning we would drink coffee on the second floor, balcony and enjoy the views. We could catch sunsets from there as well. The location was convenient to the cabana club, and everywhere on the island.

Great property

House was in a great location away from the busiest part of the island. Our favorite activity was sitting on the screened porch watching the fish jump and the cranes hunt- we even got to see an eagle and a dolphin! Only drawback was ocean view was a bit limited by the neighbor's bushes. We would definitely stay again!

This home was beautiful! We had 6 adults and one 10 year old. Everybody was comfortable with beds for everyone. Love the decor. The views from both decks were stunning!! Very clean and comfortable! Highly recommend.

Perfect Location!

We very much LOVED our stay at Misty Breeze! We are a first time Fripp family and this was the perfect location. The house sits on a little inlet, but you’re still close enough to the beach so you can hear the waves. But we got to see more wildlife! The house is 6 down from the main pools which is nice when you have younger kids. Donna went above and beyond for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better host! Our family ranged from 17 months to 60s plus our dog and it was perfect for all! I will definitely be staying here again.

Serene is the scene...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from both back porches as well as the sand yard are amazing. It's so peaceful to take in the quiet tide Pool setting with sunset Beach & rolling waves in the background. We ate every meal on the porch & enjoyed coffee & Cocktails there as well bc you'd be hard pressed to find a better view on the island. The home itself has everything you need from a well stocked kitchen to Beach chairs & cornhole boards. We didn't use half of what we packed bc it was already there for out convenience. Both bedrooms offered comfortable beds, fans & TVs. We didn't use the 3rd bedroom as our group was only 2 couples & our pooch. Maizey, our dog, loved to hang out on the porch on her bed. She was absolutely mesmerized by the many deer that visited the backyard nightly. She didn't bark surprisingly as they were about 3x her size...she simply wagged like crazy & stared in excitement. The deer are very friendly (the neighbors were feeding them from their hand). It was wonderful to watch them roam up & just meander through each evening. Must say we loved having the Cabana pool steps away. It was a very quiet week on island & we had the pool practically to ourselves. The food there was quite good - definitely recommend for an easy lunch & frozen drink. Our trip in a nutshell was sun, sand, sips, pool & play golf...with a side of gorgeous sunsets. We will happily return. Thank you Donna for sharing your lovely holiday home with folks like us!

Loved the Misty Breeze

Highly recommend! We loved the location and the views - really enjoyed sitting on the decks. Very close to Cabana Club and pools. We also spent a lot of time sitting and playing games in the sandy back yard.Property was immaculate and walls were freshly painted. The home was very well stocked with more cooking utensils and supplies than the rental properties and timeshares we've traveled to in the past. Great communication and quick response time from host Donna.Only drawback is that we were traveling with 8 adults and two dogs so we had 2 people sleeping on couch in living room which was not ideal. Otherwise, truly enjoyed the property and will return!

Nice place and good communication

Enjoyed our stay. The view was very nice unfortunately the bushes next door blocked the view. Not very considerate of the neighbors. We enjoyed the upstairs view but furniture on that deck needs an upgrade. Everything else was great.

Phenomenal location and view. We would absolutely stay here again if the dates were available next year. I think the downstairs area and steps could use a more thorough cleaning (carpet on steps, under chairs and tables), but otherwise a great stay for us! Donna was very helpful for us too.

Everything was good. We were there for a golf tournament so hardly at the house. The front door knob fell off, I called owner and she sent someone within minutes to repair it. Nice repair man came in and was pleasant to deal with. I would suggest bringing lots of Bug spray. The area is Buggy this time of year.

Great Spring Trip

We enjoyed staying at the Misty Breeze! The layout was perfect for our family of 4, though it could’ve definitely accommodated a larger party. We cooked quite a bit and the kitchen had everything we needed. The views off the back porch are unmatched!

Great View

We have stayed on Fripp Island 8 times over the years, and this location had the best view by far- The view from the top porch where you can see the Atlantic and the Marsh can not be beat. Property was in very good condition and great communication with Donna. We will stay here again.
