River Cabin in ON the Water with Firepit

Private, gated cabin, ON THE WATER. This is not your typical rental...this is a mountain/river adventure, on acreage, right in the heart of wine country! Less than 10 minutes to any of Dahlonega's famed vineyards. Leave the planning and prep to us, as your stay includes many of the necessities you want and deserve. Fish from the fire pit, hike the property, or float the river...so much adventure included without having to leave the property!

Layout:
The Cherokee named this river "Chestatee", meaning "Place of Light", and this cabin captures it all. Originally built almost 40 years ago this cabin is grandfathered in and sits beautfilly ON the water with long range views up and down the river. The morning and evening light dance off the water and you can really understand why the Cherokee gave it its name.

OUTDOORS: Enter under the covered front porch. Above are french doors in the loft that lead to a 2nd story porch with outdoor sofa, overlooking the river. Out back is a private deck with outdoor table and seating, and you can hear the shoals in the distance. Stream your favorite relaxing music via blue tooth on the built-in speakers on the front porches and back deck.

RIVERSIDE FIRE PIT: Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the Chestatee River, while you sip on your morning coffee by the fire. It literally sounds like a bird sanctuary in the mornings and if you're lucky you'll spot our local Bald Eagle flying down the river. No expense was spared on this river rock firepit, with firebricks and aeration to feed magnificent fires by the river.

INDOORS: All common areas have incredible views of the river. Spacious living room with couch that folds into a sleeper. Original wood burning stove, Flat screen TV, Bluetooth in-wall speakers, library of classic books, Original Edison Photograph, Kitchen with modern Samsung appliances comes with everything you need to prepare meals.

Both bedrooms each have Queen beds and their own mini-splits for custom temps sleeping in comfort. Loft room has dual built-in Twin XL beds which are the same length as a queen so they comfortable sleep tall adults. The loft also has French doors that open to an outdoor porch balcony with sofa overlooking the river and firepit area.
