The property recently has a new owner and has not been on VRBO, so there are just a few (5 Star) reviews. Enjoy the views on the 7 acre estate of Christiansted, overlooking the ocean, Altona Lagoon, and the Buccaneer Resort. This property is ultra safe with an 8’ fence around 4 acres of the property and electronic gates. The house is 3,500 ft.² and enjoys gorgeous ocean views from numerous beautiful glass doors to its swimming pool. The rental does not include the other house located in another area of this 7.7 acre compound which may be booked separately on VRBO under Whispering Palms I. Great Stay in St Croix

We recently stayed at Whispering Palms 2 for nine days and loved it. We've been to St Croix many times and rented several homes over the years and this one was the best. The property is beaufiful and the location is great! Leo was very accomading and easy to deal with. We plan to return!

Hilltop Sanctuary

This house (guest house) is modern beautiful and way more than you would expect from a guest house. The views are beyond!! You have the ocean view right in front and Christianstead off to the left. The pool was lovely and even ready for night time swim where we could also star gaze. Leo was great in helping us check in and out and my family of four had an amazing time!

Exceptional property

No doubt, the finest VRBO property we have enjoyed. From booking to departure, our stay was Five Star. No hype, this is a multimillion dollar estate. The opportunity to enjoy such an ordinary experience is one which we will soon revisit-on what will be our sixth trip to St. Croix. Arthur and Leo were very friendly and helpful. Paradise

If you have ever wondered where the super rich vacation in St. Croix, a stay at Whispering Palms II will answer all those questions. The features of the property are amply and accurately described by the other reviewers of this property. We would only add that the security, privacy and beauty struck us like no other VRBO property that we have enjoyed. One of the best features of the property was Leo, a co-owner and manager who made us feel welcome while making sure we were comfortable in every way. This home was probably the best home I’ve ever stayed in through VRBO. Stunning views, beautiful property, the house was completely stocked with everything you could possibly need. Absolutely gorgeous and very relaxing

Our stay at Whispering Palms was the best vacation we have had to date. The home is stunning and feels so roomy and comfortable. It is fully stocked with chairs, beach towels and anything else you may want for your stay. We sat and had our morning coffee in the lounge chairs with a breathtaking view. Leo, the property manager, is a fabulous host who made our stay that much more special. He had many wonderful recommendations for places to see and eat. We will be back to stay again very soon! Fantastic Property

Can't say enough about our stay at Whispering Palms. Property is pristine and Arthur/Leo were extremely helpful with any questions/logistics for our stay. We stayed in the smaller of the two houses (2 bdrms) which would be perfect for two couples or one family. Views are spectacular and location is very convenient to restaurants/beach/etc. Would highly recommend this property...and might considering booking both houses with a couple families next year!

Beautiful House Overlooking the Ocean

This was an amazing place to stay. We will be back as we have a place in St. Thomas. This house was so close to Christiansted, and very convenient to a nice grocery store. The property manager was lovely and inviting. The pool and outdoor space was amazing and our family enjoyed our time so much. Great recommendations by the property manager for recommended hikes. Perfect paradise getaway

What an incredible place! We absolutely loved our stay. Leo was such a helpful property manager. He brought us to the property and checked us in, and was available for anything we needed. The home worked great for us, we felt completely safe and comfortable there. Having our own pool was fantastic, the kids were in it daily! The ocean view is so beautiful, and we enjoyed watching the lights in Christiansted come on at nightfall. Could not ask for a better place to stay. It will be hard to top this home!

Beautiful views and relaxing times!

The property exactly what you expect. Very large with a breathtaking views. The property was spacious and private with beautiful grounds. Everything that you need is there. You won’t find better!

Property was amazing! AC in every room worked perfectly! Beds and linens were very comfortable. Pool was well kept and maintained and was the perfect way to wind down the evening. Property is well kept and maintained. Great view of the lagoon and the ocean during the day, and of Christiansted at night. Place was convenient to everything but also just far enough out to feel a little secluded. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will plan future trips around this properties availability.

Found in Paradise 2!

Whispering Palms II is the perfect combination of being close enough to the action of Whispering Palms I, but distant enough to feel like you’re in a private hide-away. We rented both properties for our family as we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary, and it was the ideal get-away for our daughter and her husband, who didn’t get much of a honeymoon after they married during the pandemic. This two bedroom house has the warm, charming feel of a Caribbean beach bungalow, with its own lovely pool, fully furnished kitchen and laundry room. Having the two properties available for our family to stay in, worked beautifully!

Beautiful Oasis

The house is stunning. Very nice and clean. My husband complains about the maids we pay to clean our personal house but was very impressed with how clean this rental was. The property manager was so helpful with recommendations and responded immediately every time we reached out to him. Only a short drive to town (maybe 10 mins) - just remember keep left! We will definitely be back!

Best VRBO EVER!

We’ve used VRBO number times over the years and nothing comes close this experience. From check in to check out every expectation was exceeded. The property is simply amazing. The pool was perfect and even the furniture was comfortable (a rarity in the VRBO world). The beds were plush and the views were eye dropping. The property had everything, and I mean everything that you need for your St Croix get away. From beach supplies to coffee bar they have it all covered. Let’s not forget about Leo! His pride in the property is obvious. All of his island recommendations were spot on and he was available at any time for anything. Thanks Leo for making our vacation a once in a lifetime experience. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice, but it’s the most we can give.

The pool was a huge hit. Our kids loved it, we could keep an eye on them while being inside and the view from the pool was great. The palm trees and grass that separate the 2 houses made it feel like a resort. We weren’t sure if the access to the 2nd bedroom (outside) was going to work for us but it was fine even with 2 kids under 10. Leo was great at communicating. There are at least 4 security cameras mounted on the outside and pointed at the house and pool that we didn’t know about. Not sure if they are on or not but we didn’t love that. My family (2 adults and 2 kids) had a great time and really loved the house. It was the best part of our 2 week stay on St Croix.

Whispering Palm II

This is the best vrbo property we’ve stayed at. The home has an incredible view, it’s comfortable and safe and convenient to town, yet private and quiet as well. Leo the caretaker was there to address anything we might need and made us feel very welcome. The compound sits on a hill with wonderful breezes and the deck with the pool is where we spent most of the days listening to the palm trees and enjoying the ocean, boats on the horizon and the iguanas! The house was well stocked and the beds were super comfy! I loved that all doors opened to the deck and that the A/C was powerful! We’ve already recommended this property to friends and we look forward to coming back ourselves. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Amazing home with breathtaking views

This is absolutely the most stunning rental property. The entire property provides picturesque views. The house is beautiful and extremely clean. We had a private chef join us one evening and kitchen was the ideal location for this event. Leo, the property manager, greeted us and insured us that if we needed anything at all he would accommodate (and he did!).The pictures of the property online do not give this house justice. Our family is a total of six and the house suited us perfectly. Large kitchen, big bedrooms, and space for the kids to run and play. We spent our evenings in the pool playing and enjoying the view across the lagoon and sea. I highly recommend for families wanting to take some time to just slow down and relax. We were also just minutes away from groceries, restaurants, and local shops. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beyond Our Expectations!

To say this property was amazing would be an understatement! The house itself is tastefully decorated and was also equipped with everything we needed (kitchenware, toiletries, detergent, etc). The view was spectacular, as was the outdoor swimming pool, which we used every single day for hours on end. As an added bonus, there were outside speakers and a grill, which we used in the evenings for dinner and playing music while swimming. We also felt very safe because the property was gated and located in a quiet neighborhood. We also liked that the property was very centrally located and we could get to everything we wanted to do quickly and easily. Besides the beauty of the view and the house itself, one of the biggest assets was Leo, who was beyond helpful with suggestions and recommendations and very personable and friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone wishing for a peaceful and relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
