Located in the beautiful hilltop area of Portsmouth, this cottage is perfect for a quiet stay. Just minutes from both SOMC and KDMC and 5 minutes from the historic downtown Boneyfiddle area, floodwall murals, Shawnee State University and the Ohio river. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. A bamboo grove uniquely lines the backyard making it a perfect "Panda Palace". Fur babies welcome!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! One of the best we’ve ever had. Our host was amazing and it was a perfect place for us to stay. We hope to stay there again next time we’re in town!

Perfect for our hometown visit

The Panda House was a perfect choice for our stay. Only a mile from all our in-town destinations, and only a few miles from most other necessities (grocery, food, restaurants). Will be our go to here on out.

The cottage is very nice and well supplied! Courtney was very available and helpful!The house is great, maybe a touch of paint on kitchen cabinets would make it perfect!We would definitely stay there again!

Lovely, quaint inviting home.

Grew up in Portsmouth and came home for a family members funeral. A lovely home and great neighborhood to rest and relax. I will definitely recommend Panda House.

Family Reunion

The home is quaint, cozy, and clean. It was perfect for 5 of us. The check in was easy. The host was in contact with me the whole time. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.checked in ok awere met.

Cute Little House

This is a very cute, cozy cottage as advertised. Clean, comfortable with extra touches like snacks and water in the fridge on arrival. The host communicates quickly and the check in process was painless. Located in a safe, quiet neighborhood.

Better Than the Photos

The photos don't do justice to this cozy house. It is a quaint house with current comforts. It is in a great neighborhood and close to many amenities. The host was very nice and always available when we needed and answered our questions promptly. We enjoyed our stay and if next year, we are to be in Portsmouth, we will definitely stay there again.

Excellent as always!

Courtney is a fantastic host! The house is cozy and spotless every time! Every detail is always taken care of, and she always leaves a sweet basket of goodies for us to enjoy. We left some food in the fridge by mistake and she called us and set it outside for us to pick up while the house was being cleaned. My Mom made food for my college daughter that we were visiting and her teammates. They appreciated it so much. Thank you Courtney!

In town for family reunion

We were in town for a family reunion. This is a very cozy HOME. Felt very comfortable, neighborhood was quiet except for the welcoming sound from a couple neighbors who have Harleys. Very respectful neighborhood. Felt very comfortable walking the dog and when sitting on steps of porch. Would definitely recommend. Courtney stayed in contact and if I had a question she was able to respond in a short time.

Clean, Comfortable & Great Host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Panda Palace. We felt very welcome and right at home. The house was cozy and clean and decorated nicely. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was very nice. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals from scratch. Two stand-alone pantries offer plenty of space for groceries. The living room is arranged to encourage conversation, play board games, watch a good movie, or curl up with a book. We enjoyed dinner on the back patio one evening, making memories and listening to the sound of birds in the nearby bamboo. We appreciated the location of the home, close to shopping, walking, parks, and grocery stores. The neighborhood is very quiet, feels safe for walking, and the neighbors are friendly. Courtney and Jeff are excellent hosts! Small touches throughout the home, like a variety of snacks and toiletries were noticed and appreciated. The washer broke during our stay, and they showed up the next day with a replacement, and even took our clothes home to wash and dry in the interim! As one of the signs on the wall says, “Bless all those who visit. May they come as guests and leave as family.” This was certainly our experience, and we highly recommend this home and these hosts to others!

Great property

Courtney is amazing! I rented this house long term for someone I work with and the whole process was super seamless. She worked with us, was super responsive, and the property was great. Highly recommend!
