Cozy Lake House

Come and relax at our cozy lakefront cabin located in the beautiful Lakes of the North neighborhood. Centrally located, just 15 minutes west of Gaylord. Enjoy all of Northern Michigan has to offer including the numerous ATV trails, swimming, hiking, our neighborhood golf course (Deer Run) or just enjoy a bonfire on the cabin's 1.75 acres. The 5 acre lake is only steps away and there are 2 larger lakes in the neighborhood that have great beaches. Kayak and boat rentals are available. Close to many outdoor adventures: Mackinac Island 60min, Traverse City 60min, Bellaire 25min, Petoskey 45min.

Blissful and such a sweet, cozy cabin set within a beautiful landscape. A great modern interior with all of the amenities you would need! The host was very responsive before check-in and during our stay with random questions we had. I would definitely book this place again. THANK YOU guys so much for a great vacation!

Great stay, very quiet and close to quite a few attractions.

Lovely place to stay and just enjoy and relax around the campfire. Anyone that stays at this little cottage will have a great time. I did like the little balcony to sit with a nice breeze and relax.

Everything was cute and the property was clean. The only downsides were a lack of garbage service, so we had to take our trash with us, and the oven didn't work (though the listing didn't specify an oven, so maybe it was to be expected?). We were also told the grill was unavailable, even though it was in the listing. But for the price, it was a cozy place to spend the weekend.

The house was very clean and as described in the listing. Our host Dan was responsive to our requests. The location is fairly remote and quite, just remember to bring everything for your stay before you arrive. The property does not have trash service so taking it somewhere before you leave is requested. Dan helped us find a spot before we left so it wasn't a big issue.

This cabin was very comfortable and in a beutiful area. Its in a great location to explore the area. Not far from mackinaw city, traverse city, torch lake, sleeping bear dunes and ocqueoc falls plus many other cool towns

Wonderful!

The property was very clean and comfortable! The scenery was spectacular! The lake view was just beautiful and so very peaceful! No noise except birds and geese. We golfed nearby at Lakes of the North and it is a nice course. We drove into Gaylord and ate at Lucky’s Steakhouse and we highly recommend that! We went looking for elk and saw bears! The property is far enough out for peace and quiet yet close enough to enjoy the amenities of the Gaylord area. The owners were easy to contact also! We recommend this property and we hope to come back!

We VRBO most always when we travel and this cabin is by far the best well laid out. Has all the amenities, you can tell the owners make a conscious effort to make sure you have all your everyday needs. The property is just as pictured, but better in person.

Elizabeth and Dave have been hosting this home for 5 years now. (new to VRBO) We have been Superhost's for the entire time on the other platform. We love to travel and try to stay at other VRBO/AirBnB's whenever possible.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Our little slice of heaven is quiet, private and clean. It's wonderful to enjoy a bonfire or to just read a book down by the lake. We never have understood why people stay in hotels when for the same investment you can have such a better experience at our home! We sincerely hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
