Hope to see you again. The book Beyond Acadia by Richard Bars has a lot of information on hiking trails. There have been a lot more added since that book but it has a lot of information.

Property was clean and very easy to get to. Directions clear and precise. Cabin was exactly was described on the web site. Clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the gas fireplace on the chilly mornings. We would defintstsy here again if in the area.

The cabin is very clean and had everything we needed. Mary is wonderful and makes you feel welcomed. The lake is beautiful. We kayaked and swam. We visited Roques Bluff and Quoddy Head State park during our stay.

Quiet and serene cabin had all the amenities and was beyond beautiful, very clean, outside porch chairs to watch the beautiful view of the sunset. Mary Jane was an awesome and friendly host. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Family Vacation

The property was well taken care of and perfect for anyone who enjoys being outdoors with convient access to the main road. Mary was extremely friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Mary Jane is a wonderful host who is attentive and the property is spotless. The property was slightly noisy from the traffic on the main road, but overall really lovely and in the evening it was quiet. It has everything one would need for a relaxing getaway.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Although we do hear Route 1, I think that was one of the weeks this summer the road tarring and line drawing was going on. Glad it quieted down at night for you.

Downeast vacation!

We had a great stay at Mary Jane’s cabin! It had everything we needed: a lake to swim in, a comfortable bed, a very usable kitchen, a deck for reading and dinner and sunsets, WiFi, close enough to explore Lubec, Eastport, Machias, coastal hikes, etc etc. Great communication, very clean, would absolutely return.
