Spacious lakeside home on Lake Ripley, this vacation property is your ideal getaway. Also available is a double decker pontoon boat. is a The 4-bedroom, 3 full bath has plenty of space for your friends and family. Enjoy the downstairs family room or relax lakeside in the power reclining furniture in the main living room. Enjoy a meal, prepared from the fully stocked kitchen, in the dining room which boasts large lakeside views or on the screened-in-porch. When not inside you can enjoy one of the clearest full-rec lakes in Wisconsin, Lake Ripley. The property has an outdoor grill, firepit, swim platform, 3 kayaks, canoe, and sailboat. There is also a 70-foot dock and a sandy bottom for swimming. If you prefer to play in the sand, beautiful Lake Ripley Park is less than 1 mile away. If you still need more to do, nearby Cambridge offers golfing, biking & hiking trails, elevated dining, distillery, winery, bars, festivals and much more. Visitors can also take the short 30-minute drive to downtown Madison for endless possibilities.

Our group of 12 (3 families) stayed at the property for 4 nights. The lake house is perfectly located with beautiful views of the lake and full access to the dock with pontoon boat, kayaks and paddle boat. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the water activities and fishing. The house is charming and has everything you might need for a great vacation: good room sizes with multiple beds, fully stocked kitchen, grill outside, firepit, screened porch, selection of board games, fishing rods, etc. The host is very responsive to any questions and accommodating. Highly recommend Lake Retreat at Lake Ripley!

Just what we needed.

What a wonderful place for our family. The beds were very comfortable. He had lots of lake toys that we took advantage of. Nice view of lake. We had a great time and would definitely stay again. Adam is very attentive and I appreciate that. Thank you!!

Family vacation on the lake

We stayed here with our family of 10, aged 9-67. We didn't have enough towels initially, but the host was quick to get that rectified. We were on the lake every day but one, and the space was great for games and two family members worked remotely during our stay.

Family Getaway and Special Event

We wanted to celebrate our daughters 18th birthday and our wedding anniversary at a lake home and this place met our needs perfectly. Having so many sleeping spaces for our big family was great! It can be hard to find accommodations for vacation when you have more than 2 kids! The lake view was really beautiful, the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, and plenty of fun water stuff that kept our kids occupied in the lake for days! Having the pontoon was great as well. The host was responsive and gracious and we would definitely recommend this lovely home to others. Cheers!

Pre-holiday getaway

We picked a perfect week weather-wise, so a couple of us were able to get out on the water in kayaks. We also walked with our dog through the neighborhood, met some of the neighbors and felt welcome and safe. The house was comfortable, clean and well stocked. The only suggestion is that since we are all in our 70's, the last steps down to the dock could use a railing. Overall, it was a nice getaway!

Beautiful Lake Home

The lake home was beautiful and located off the lake. Lovely views and very quiet location. The home had lots of space and plenty of rooms to sleep comfortably. I highly recommend this home given the location.

Amazing view and activities

We had a wonderful weekend at the house. The view is great and there are free kayak and firepit for use. Ample of beds and space for 10 adults and 2 kids. Host is very quick at responding.

Fun on the lake

We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious house and paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was so peaceful! Definitely want to go back.

The house is great! Lots of space for big group with amp parking area. Was surprised to see kayaks and multiple sizes of safety vests for all ages/sizes. Beautiful house directly on lake with beautiful views. Great fire pit with many chairs (we did not use) and great screened in porch-we did use. Rooms & beds were comfy & good size, nice size bathrooms.

Great Lake House!

Plenty of room for everyone and nice location for our weekend getaway. Far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to have things to do! Enjoyed an afternoon of antiquing and exploring Madison which is a short drive. Grocery store and gas station located within minutes of the property. Relaxing lake side location and views. Would definitely recommend!

Great Lake vacation property

Family lakehouse

The house is very nice. Nice bedroom configurations. The house had nice amenities. We really enjoyed the screened in porch for meals and just reading. We enjoyed your lilypad, and the pontoon fit us all nicely.

Very nice lake property!

We really enjoyed our stay, despite some challenges provided by Mother Nature. The property was "as advertised" and the owner was easy to work with and very responsive. This is a perfect spot for a family lake getaway.

We really enjoyed our staying at this beautiful house on the lake! The house is spacious, very clean, has a full kitchen equipped with utensils and dishes. There is a beautiful patio and absolutely gourgeous view to enjoy your coffee in the morning. The host was very quick at responding to my questions. I highly recommend this place!

Great location, even in winter

Great place to stay and we loved our time here. Clean enough; some detail cleaning that the very kind owners should expect from their cleaning team. Lower level a great place to hunker down; with no windows it would be nice to have a working fireplace for a focal point. Rooms are spacious and plenty of storage. Fun little creative nooks throughout. We suggest working up some entrance way steps or something so wet or snowy entry through the front/side door remains safe. Also, maybe a patio heater to extend the fun to the enclosed back porch. We had a blast here, very comfortable and lovely.
