Perfect location between 2 lakes making an ease to get from lake to lake, little waterway traffic, the property has basic necessities for a pleasant stay.

Great stay

Stay was great, will come back in the future. Good fishing and not too far of a drive to downtown New Orleans or to Slidell.

Great place just outside of town

Our family was there for a tournament and spring break. We enjoyed having the space, beautiful views and room to hang out and play. We greatly enjoyed the fishing dock!Home was well stocked and communication with owner was great.

Great spot!

We had a great fishing trip. The house was clean and as pictured. I really appreciate the host providing drinking water and ice. The property also has a gorgeous view.

Exhale!

Quick jaunt from the city with space to breath! Easy checkin and well stocked. If you have a car, this place can work well. Relaxing views and plenty of parking.

Sportsman’s paradise

I highly recommend this camp!!!!! It was the perfect place for anyone that likes to fish and enjoy wildlife. We caught plenty fish in the marsh surrounding the camp and plenty crabs with crab traps on the dock.

Amazing Home

We have never had another home that was so well stocked, accommodating, clean and updated- all we actually needed was our clothes! The home is beautiful and roomy. Crabbing off the dock was plentiful, and all the supplies were there for the crab boil. The owner is very kind and helpful.

David was great and the property was as well

I came to town to work and relax in the evening. You can’t get the views in a hotel room like this. Plus you can cook and not eat out all the time

Rural but you’re 20 minutes from the city. The house had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had no issues. It was so relaxing. Thank you very much for hosting our family and we will be back!

Nice relaxing getaway

So this place is off a main highway but don't let that scare you. It's super peaceful. Communicating with the host was super easy. Fishing was awesome. Caught a couple small fish and plenty of blue crabs. Had a nice little boil with the guys. Crap traps were baited for us when we got here. Awesome weekend getaway.

Friends Getaway

We have always wanted to visit New Orleans and now we have. And we stayed and enjoyed the fishing location very much. We crabbed and only caught catfish. But it was a fabulous time!A car is an absolute must!! It’s a ways from any populated areas. And there in lies the ambience of the location.

Best Sunset View!

I’ve watched a lot of sunsets, all over Alabama & Florida. This sunset takes me back to Key West! It’s an absolute must to be there on the porch during sunset! The house was overall great! Had everything we needed. Also, the communication was top notch. I normally had a response within just a few minutes, if I had a question. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Awesome stay, wonderful property

Senior trip for our son, he wanted a fishing destination. Fishing off the dock was very good, catfish, reds and black drum. Also, crab traps were already baited and we enjoyed a fine dinner a few nights of fresh fish and crab. Several marinas nearby for bait and charters. The home was wonderful. Bottles of water provided, AC worked perfectly, beds were comfortable, communication with David were prompt and detailed. Everything was perfect. We hope to be back soon. Thanks David!

A Great Bayou Escape!

Enjoyed spending Christmas with our family at this unique and wonderful place. Location was far enough from civilization to feel remote but close enough to reach great restaurants and grocery stores when needed. The home was spacious and had everything we needed including nice extras like fishing rods, crab traps, huge banquet table, big comfortable L-couch, and lots of fridge and storage space. We spent a lot of time on the back deck watching the sun set over the water. Also enjoyed fishing off the dock right behind the house.
