This is a great property especially for a big group. We loved the location, parking, layout and style of the house. The back garden area and carriage house are particularly great. We enjoyed evenings on the back porch with the gas fire pit for extra warmth when it was chilly. The pool table, fussball and corn hole games were well used! It's a very family-friendly property. The kitchen is great and we enjoyed the helpful notes and instructions for things. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

A great place to stay with family

The house was great for out Family reunion and 50th Anniversary. Enough room for everyone to have a bed and privacy. The house had everything we needed and the location is great the neighborhood is impressive. Looking forward to using VRBO in the future.

Family Gathering

We had a terrific stay in the Old North End of Colorado Springs, using this great house as home base to explore the area and also to relax. Grand old neighborhood, easy access to everything we wanted to do. The house is charming, perfect gathering place for family. Backyard is a quiet oasis, lots of shade and well kept gardens. Thea was super helpful as host and very welcoming. Highly recommend the property.

WONDERFUL!!

This is a great property for a large group. The home has several spaces for gathering, was well-stocked and well-furnished, with plenty of parking. The host could not have been more accommodating. The only negative to this home is that the bathrooms are quite small, but it's an older home so that is to be expected.

Incredible host and home!

Thea is the best host that we have encountered on any platform. Her communication and helpfulness made our stay more pleasant than we could have imagined. Cannot praise her enough. The home itself is gorgeous and in a nice part of downtown Colorado Springs. We had plenty of room for our group of six adults. Beautiful backyard, nice amenities… we did not want to leave! Nice home

Our stay was very good. Overall the house was nice except that the water in bathrooms was just Luke warm. You have to have enough hot water for a group of people. I took barely Luke warm showers even waiting till late at night after everyone were in bed. Also the oven needs attention. Maybe breaker comes off sometimes. Not sure. French fries after a long period of time were just warm. It did bake well when lasanya was put in. Therefore I’m not sure what’s wrong.

I am so sorry you had these difficulties, Wanda. I wish you had contacted me, so that I could have helped you with the oven. I have successfully used the oven countless times, and could have helped you with it. As I share in the description of our home, We have a new 50 gallon electric hot water heater that heats water very rapidly. We also have a 30 gallon water heater in the carriage house.. If members of the group take long showers, the showers need to be spread out so that that hot water supply can be built up again.

We brought our two families of five here for a family gathering, and this house was a great fit for all ten of us. The Main House and Carriage House setup gave everyone room to spread out, and with six king beds, everyone slept well.Everything about the stay was well organized. Check-in was easy, the instructions were clear, and the house was thoughtfully set up and stocked, so we could settle in right away and make the most of our time.The location made it easy to fit a lot into our trip. We played golf, drove up Pikes Peak, explored Garden of the Gods, and enjoyed some great meals out downtown. We also got to spend time with a friend of our kids who is a first-year cadet at the Air Force Academy, which was a real treat for everyone. After full days out, it was great to come back to the hot tub, the courtyard, and a game room the kids couldn't get enough of.The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. We'd love to come back and highly recommend it for families or groups looking for space to relax and explore everything Colorado Springs has to offer.
