Your family will enjoy this centrally-located home within walking distance of downtown, close to VU as well as the new Journeyman Distillery. Our home is perfect for a large family or wedding party, as it has 5 beds and can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests. The home includes stainless steel appliances, and features a ping pong and Foosball table. With two bathrooms featuring a double vanity, as well as a half bath, there's room for everyone to get ready. We hope you enjoy your journey to Valpo!

We were in town for a wedding. This place was perfectly located and served our purpose nicely. Would definitely stay here again if ever needed.

Perfect for the holidays

The home provided enough sleeping quarters and the layout was perfect for entertaining for Christmas. I conquered at the ping pong table. Yea Dad.

Family Weekend

The accommodations were perfect for our family group. The basement area was great for the kids to stay occupied while the adults visited. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Everything we needed!

The house was perfect for a group of 5. Had everything we needed. The host answered all of our questions and was very accommodating. Location was near downtown with all the restaurants and shops, but still quiet. Couldn't have asked for much more!

A lovely home for an expanding family

We were in town for Thanksgiving visiting family. This home was a perfect place for my immediate family to be able to spread out as we (our wives and children) no longer fit in our parents' home.

Cute & Close to Town

My family of 5 were in town for our kids’ swim meet. We prefer to stay in Valparaiso for all the great dining options. Kyle, the owner is attentive and quick to answer any questions or concerns. Home was stocked with all the basic essentials and was quite comfortable for our stay.

Excellent Family Gathering Home

The house is lovely! Perfect for our family meet-up. The kids loved the basement. The table and kitchen made it easy for family meals. Walking distance to charming downtown Valpo. Kyle was a pleasure to work with, responded quickly to questions! Will definitely be back!

Lovely home

Very nice home. Good layout. Lots of open space. Beds comfy. Very clean. Limited parking, not much room for more than 3 cars. Enjoyed stayed very much.

Reading Escape

Had a group of friends and book lovers who all joined together for a weekend of reading! Had dinner at a library themed restaurant, Stacks Bar & Grill that was phenomenal! (Make reservations!) Also checked out the downtown area and shops. The house was perfect, accurate descriptions, clean, very responsive and helpful owners. Highly recommend!

Good time in Valpo

Very nice place to stay. Five adults stayed comfortably, could have easily accommodated more. A couple of minor quibbles: TV was a pain...you can only watch streaming services with your own accounts (free Roku channel doesn't really cut it), and a couple of missing nice-to-haves...no corkscrew, for example, that we could find. Neighborhood is OK, and the walk is a bit to downtown, probably not an issue for most people, but too far for some members of our group.

Sweet and convenient

The open living area and full kitchen was a huge plus for our family group of 9 adults. We loved the big table and made good use of the kitchen for breakfasts and for preparations for an extended family holiday. With 3 couples and 3 singles, it was a bit tight, but it's hard to find a place that has enough bedrooms, and this one is a great value at the right location. Please note that the 3rd bathroom does NOT have a shower. We would stay here again and recommend it for the right size group!

Great space in Valpo

We came with our 3 adult kids to explore Indiana Dunes NP and the two cideries in Valpo for Labor Day weekend. This property was fantastic! It looks pretty small from the outside, but it was anything but on the inside! 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and great community space on both floors, with ping-pong and football downstairs. Downtown was easily walkable and the neighborhood was quiet. Communication and check-in/out with the owner was easy. We would absolutely stay here again!

Family gathering

Inside was nicely decorated. One chair in the living room was sagging when you sat in it. The outside wasn't as nice. Grass needed cut and the weeds needed pulling. There were lots of maggots in the outside garbage can. Grass did get cut while we were there, but not the weeding. This house was not as nice as others we have stayed in.

Winterfest 2025

The house was clean and well kept. One of the kids kept saying he wanted to live there. If I could complain about anything, it could only be about the bed we chose to sleep in. That being said, we are a little spoiled and love our bed at home. It was just a little soft for our taste. No other complaints about sleeping from anyone else. We would come back if needed and available.
