Love this house! Will definitely stay again next time we are in town. The coffee bar setup was great. They also had lots of travel size toiletries available in bathrooms which was very helpful for traveling. Check in and out was very easy, communication was great. Required minimal cleaning at check out which was very convenient for us. Highly recommend!!!

Very nice house. Good areas for games, reading and relaxing. Loved the front porch! Quiet neighborhood and close to Riverside Drive where there were lots of shops and good restaurants.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Clayton. It’s a beautiful property within walking distance to the Main Street and waterfront, shopping and restaurants. The house itself is beautiful and welcoming and extremely clean. Everything you need is there and the owner Kevin extremely responsive to any needs and questions. It truly is a perfect place to stay!!! Definitely 10 out of 10!!

Quaint and family friendly

We loved this house as well as the proximity to town. Five minute walk to playground. Nine minutes to shops and restaurants.

Beautiful

This home was even more beautiful in person than the photos. We stayed here for several days for our son’s wedding. Great home to host family and friends. Centrally located to everything in Clayton. Loved the front porch for morning coffee.

Clean, cozy and comfortable in Clayton

From the communication prior to the trip, to the cleanliness and location of the house, this was truly a wonderful vacation. We all enjoyed the convenient location, being just a short walk to shops, restaurants and the river. The house itself is lovely, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the front porches. Couldn’t recommend this house more!

Slice of historic heaven

From the moment we booked this gorgeous home in Clayton, I knew we were in good hands. The hosts were lovely and accommodating, and the property was stunning. Walking distance to everywhere and perfectly appointed inside, making staying in a very attractive option! I don't remember the last time I slept so well. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Idyllic getaway!

The entire home was so inviting! From the front porch to the very comfortable beds, we could not have asked for more. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, and we certainly appreciated your flexibility on check-in! The quaint town of Clayton has many great dining and shopping options, all within walking distance. If you are looking for a beautiful home and location for your upcoming trip, you have just found it!

Fall Getaway

Lots of a character and charm in this beautiful 4 bedroom cottage. The house was located within blocks from downtown Clayton. The host was quick to respond and very accommodating. My son got married at Cedar Point State Park and this was the perfect retreat for our out of state guests to walk and explore the area.

Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic stay at this house in Clayton while attending a wedding. The home is very welcoming, clean, beautifully but comfortably decorated and served the needs of our family of six- all adults- very well. The location is terrific--within walking distance of everything that Clayton has to offer. Communication with owners was great. Appreciated their welcoming touches- chocolates, coffee, plenty of toiletries and town information. We would definitely stay here again if we're ever lucky enough to be in Clayton again! Such a charming town.

Beautiful, Relaxing Home

This home has been beautifully renovated. The furnishings are comfortable and fabulous. The home had plenty of room for 5 adults, and the neighborhood is adorable. White House in Clayton

We had a wonderful time visiting friends on the St Lawrence River and staying in the perfect house! Newly renovated, the house was meticulously clean and decorated. We had plenty of room to comfortably relax, inside and outside. The house also, undeniably, has the most comfortable beds! Lastly, a HUGE thank you to the hosts for reasonable checkout requests.

Cozy, inviting home in clayton ny

This house was so warm, cozy and inviting and extremely clean! Wonderful front porches to sit and enjoy a drink with friends and family. Was decorated beautifully! Attention to detail was applied to every room. It was very well stocked from the kitchen to the bathrooms and bedrooms. Sheets, towels, shampoo, conditioner, Q-tips, cotton balls, chargers for phones and snacks were all supplied. Washer and dryer was a plus as well. The location was excellent, just a short 5 minute walk to the main street in clayton which was lovely, right on the water. The hosts were extremely nice and accommodating as well.They allowed us an early check in and a late check out time. I would highly recommend this property for your next vacation, you won't be disappointed!

Just like Grandma's

We had a wonderful stay in the old house on Merrick Street. It was unseasonably cold while we were in Clayton for a wedding, but the home was incredibly warm and welcoming - just like my grandparents' old farmhouse when I was a kid. In fact, most of my adult siblings rented a house in Clayton for the wedding, but this house was the best! It was the biggest and cleanest with the cutest decor. And it smelled nice. Definitely the winner! The house is full of antiques but also modern furniture, so we never felt that we were going to accidentally break anything. The beds were comfy, the towels were very soft, and we really appreciated the full bag of coffee and chocolate bars upon arrival. Check in and check out were oh so easy. Seriously, if it weren't for the 10 hour drive, we would be back every weekend! Clayton is a darling, teeny, river-side town, so you can walk everywhere very easily, but this house is in the perfect location on an extremely quiet street with a full driveway and outdoor seating both protected from the weather and in the sun (though there was no sun during our visit unfortunately). We met a couple friendly neighborhood cats too. Highly recommend!
