We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described and was very clean. The best part of our experience, though, was the host. She was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.During our stay, one of the toilets became clogged. She responded immediately and, despite the issue being resolved, she generously offered us a late checkout for the inconvenience. That level of thoughtfulness and hospitality really stood out.I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The layout of the house worked really well for us. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The heated pool allowed us to use it everyday. It was really nice to have breakfast at the pool bar every morning and also end our days there too. Lisa also allowed us to check in early which was helpful and was very good at communicating with us. If we go to Cape Coral again we will definitely stay here.

More Than Expected

Great location. Perfect for multi family's stay. Wonderful pool and outdoor patio! Four bathrooms clean and stocked with necessities. Two kitchens clean and modern. Lots beach towels. Beach chairs. Really nice Bar B Que grill. Big TV,s everywhere Even outside on the very large pool deck.It is set up to sit and handle lots of guest's. Lisa, our host & owner of this home was the best ever! Available to take calls and answer question any time day or night.

The host was super sweet and amazing, her response time was very quick. House was stocked well with kitchen supplies. The pool was heated well and the back porch was our favorite place, we spent a lot of time out on it playing games on at bar table. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house was very accommodating for our 7 guests. We would totally stay again if we come back to the area.

Our stay at Double Cape Escape was absolutely wonderful! We vacationed with another family, and the layout of the home was perfect for all of us — spacious, comfortable, and ideal for spending time together while still feeling relaxed.The property was very clean, cozy, and inviting, and we especially loved the beautiful kitchens and bathrooms. The outdoor space was one of our favorite parts of the home. It was the perfect place to gather and entertain my sister and brother-in-law, who live locally.The pool was truly a highlight of our stay — the water temperature was perfect, and we spent most of our time at the house enjoying it. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to Cape Coral restaurants, the farmers market, and local shops, which made everything so convenient.We made such wonderful memories here and would absolutely love to stay at Double Cape Escape again on a future visit. Highly recommend!

Baseball Tournament Weekend

Our group was looking for 5 night stay, with space to accommodate 6 for a 16u baseball tournament weekend in Ft Myers, FL. This location was perfect! 4B + 4 bathrooms, two living rooms, and 2 washer dryers. Gorgeous outdoor space, with a pool, kayaks for the canal and fun fishing from the dock. Grocery shopping and restaurants all within walking distance.

The best holiday home EVER!!

Our first stay at Double Cape Escape in Cape Coral certainly won’t be our last!! We’ve stayed in countless holiday homes over years of travelling in USA, Canada, and Europe and Lisa’s home is by far the best. We loved it so much it instantly felt like home! Spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped, and an outstanding pool deck, with terrific views. Lisa was a fabulous host who always checked in with us and even managed to deliver some UK home comforts for us (kettle, ironing board, iron). Can’t wait to return.

A wonderful stay!

We spent our Christmas holiday at this beautiful home and it was perfect for our group - a quiet side for those who wanted it and plenty of space for the younger among us to hang out later in the evenings. We were a little concerned that we might not be able to prepare some of our traditional holiday meals in someone else’s kitchen but Lisa made sure we had everything we needed on hand. The location has easy access to restaurants and grocery/convenience stores, many within walking distance. Everything was exceptionally clean and well kept. I would 100% recommend this home.

What an amazing property! HS graduation vacation for my son. Family of 6. House was Very clean and comfortable. Loved that we could have the young adults on one side and older adults on the other side. Perfect set up for our family. We enjoyed every part of it. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was definitely a plus. The pool loved it! The outdoor bar loved it! The outdoor sitting area loved it! The dock was perfect and what my son wanted when it came to fishing. Sunsets were gorgeous! Board games added fun at night. The house even included beach chairs, umbrellas, pool towels and pool floats. Although we did not use the kayaks and paddle boards, having access to them was nice. Fishing rods included as well that my son definitely took advantage of. Lisa was very easy to communicate with and always available when questions needed answers. She was very accommodating throughout the whole booking process up until we left. Cape Coral is a beautiful area. Everything in walking distance from the house. Lots to do! Sanibel and Captiva Island beaches not a far drive. I highly recommend Double Cape Escape and look forward to going back! Exactly what I needed in a vacation- peaceful and so relaxing!

Double your relaxation, double your fun

The VRBO property layout is ideal for 6-8 adults. Originally a duplex, it has been beautifully remodeled into a seamless all-inclusive unit. The bedrooms are thoughtfully positioned at all four corners of the house, ensuring privacy and quiet. Each bedroom features its own modern bathroom, adding a touch of convenience and luxury. There are numerous gathering spaces perfect for playing cards or enjoying separate activities. The smart TVs are a great addition, making it easy to share photos or relax with your favorite shows. The dual refrigerators and stackable washer units are incredibly handy for large groups, and the pool is simply amazing—just the right size with unbeatable views. The location is fantastic, too. You're about 20 minutes away from Sanibel, downtown Fort Myers, FGCU, and RSW airport, plus within walking distance to food and supplies. This VRBO is equipped with everything you could possibly need, even items you didn’t realize you’d want. It truly feels like a home away from home. Lisa and Charles have created an oasis that checks all the boxes.

Amazing experience!

I'm going to try my best to cover everything but that's going to be hard! This rental is the best we've ever stayed in. To begin we were surprised with a wonderful welcome gift including too many items to list. How fun! The location was perfect, close to restaurants, shopping and the beach. The house itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and spacious inside and out. Everything we needed was provided and more. Soaps, shampoos, lotions hair dryers in all the baths. Laundry supplies, trash bags , dish soap, k cups, oils spices ...the list goes on. Everyone complimented the comfy beds! Outside ( where we spent a big part of our time) the pool was perfectly heated with plenty of floats + lots seating under the covered patio perfect evening relaxation. For our day at the beach beach bags, towels and beach chairs we're there for our use. There wasn't anything that we needed or wanted. Communication with Lisa was clear, and she reached out often. I would highly recommend this property for any type of get together and hope to be able to return next year.

Our family had a wonderful time! The kids loved jumping in the pool whenever they felt like it. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the dock with the local birds and lizards. The fruit trees on the property were amazing! This property was close to so many wonderful beaches. The beds were comfortable and the showers were plentiful for our group. It was a nice touch having beach towel available to use and all the pool/beach accessories. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and paddling on the canals. Thanks for such a wonderful place to call home while on vacation!
