Farm House with 30 acres with river access and a POOL

Our beautiful home has all the amenities you could need for a peaceful vacation, a home away from home. This home has access to 30 acres for hunting and fishing. As well as direct access to the Canisteo river. We have three kayaks on the property for recreational use. We also have a large pool with an inviting pergola to optimize your relaxation and sunbathing experience (opens May 20 - closes september 5). As well as a horseshoe pit and badminton set up. There is inside and outside seating to optimize any event! There is no cell service, however, due to our wifi capabilities you are able to sign in and and still utilize your phones. We as the hosts provide one set of linens per guest, however, we do not provide pool towels. We also provide cooking utensils and kitchen ware within the property but this does not include food, beverages or perishables so please come prepared with your favorite coffee to put into the provided coffee maker.

We strive for your comfort and relaxation. We are also within close proximity to many Wine trails, corning museum of glass and other exceptional experiences to visit during your vacation.

Our only request it to please leave our beautiful home how you found it. Please remember our estate is in the country and although it is breathtaking here there is, naturally, nature’s presence. So don’t leave food outside overnight. Also Don’t forget your bug repellent. We are looking forward to you booking your “home away from home” experience.

Perfect place to unwind from our busy schedules and reconnect as a family. There are multiple spots inside/outside of the property to hang out together, whether we are playing card games, or enjoying a meal. Beautiful view of the night sky and surrounding areas of nature. We would definitely book again!

Amazing property

This place has literally everything you need for an awesome getaway. House has A/C, plenty of room for everyone and the river right across the street. Highly recommend this property!

Weekend Getaway

We all had an amazing time! The kids and family absolutely loved watching the train go by, swimming in the pool, s'mores by the fire, kayaking the river and so much more! Only a 40 minute drive to Watkins glen to enjoy the day at the Glen! Due to your amazing rental will be definitely returning in the future!

Lovely secluded property if that's what you're looking for-the train adds charm. Conveniently located next to a little market that has something for everyone whether you want to cook or not. 20 minutes from Addison/Corning/Woodhull where there are cute local spots to check out.The house has all the creature comforts you could want-we were there during a heat wave and the host had the AC cranked for us when we arrived. If you're traveling with multiple adults I would suggest bringing an air mattress or two as some of the beds are small for two! The living areas are spacious enough to not feel overcrowded if your bunking in. The pool was fantastic - sparkling and inviting. Plenty of floats/arm floaties for kids. We really enjoyed all of the outdoor seating. Our small family gathering turned into about 30 people and there was plenty of room for everyone! We didn't use the lawn above the house but the fire pit, volley ball net and horse shoe pit were ready to go and the host provides everything for a fun yard game.

Lovely stay

Property and location were simply wonderful. Very welcoming feel and comfortable for all guests. Spent most of our time sitting outside enjoying the scenery. Would definitely stay again.

A serene long weekend

Great Stay

We had a small group of family stay for a long weekend. We loved playing badminton and using the pool! We were able to take the kayaks out across the road to do a short float trip.

Perfect inside and out for our family of 7!

Our family loved the big, secluded property with the pool, pool table, board games, and outdoor games. There was plenty of room for our big family to cook and eat and hang out. We almost felt guilty leaving every day to explore the state parks and lakes and waterfalls! It would have been just as good as a staycation never leaving the house, but we enjoyed all upstate NY has to offer. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals at home and eat outside or inside. The only thing I noticed it didn't have was a hair dryer (I assumed most places had them now so I didn't bring one- whoops) or extra trash bags (maybe we just didn't find them). We picked up trash bags and it was no big deal- just sharing so others come prepared. It had everything else we could have needed. Loved being able to do laundry there. The host was so attentive and helpful if we had issues (i.e. small wifi issue got solved quickly). The people around the small towns nearby were really friendly. It's a little bit of a drive up to the lakes/parks but didn't mind the views on the way and it was worth it for such a fun property, just plan accordingly. We're recommending this place to our family and friends!!!

Great Family Rental!

Owners were great to work with - very accommodating and had lots of information regarding activities in the area. The house was spotless ! The pool is brand new and a pleasure to swim in. There were acres and acres to explore! We will definitely use this rental again !

it coulvdve been cleaner and the beds/sheets were bad, we also thought from the listing that river access meant it was on the property- not sure if I misread it. Other than those things it was very relaxing and enjoyable stay

It was great!

The property was well maintained and clean! The pool was a great perk! Our only little issue was when the description said “linens included” we thought that meant pool towels also so we did not bring our own. I was glad to find the Dollar General was close by! I ran over there to buy a few towels to use for the pool. Other than that everything was good! Hope we can visit again!

Very happy with rental

Enjoyed the mature landscape, clean property and comfortable home. My kids enjoyed the volleyball net, and open green space. Too cold to swim but pool and entertaining space were very nice. Only small draw back was location in proxicimity to the train tracks. Train came though all hours of the day/night very fast and loud horns.

Perfect Experience!

I had booked this for the wildlife experience for my girls. It was even better than I anticipated. The house was clean and welcoming. The pool was stunning and well taken care of. We even saw deer during my morning coffee which was pretty cool. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we will book again!

Nice location while in the area for a family reunion

Very nice for families travelling with young children. There were a lot of toys provided and room for them to run. Since it was a quick trip, it is very convenient to have the small market within walking distance. We were able to order pizza and subs when we arrived. The pool was clean and the propery is very pretty. Since we have family in the area, it was convenient for them to stop in the evening for a visit on the large back patio. Plenty of parking also. We hope to stay again.

Great option in the area

This is a great option in the area for groups with or without kids. Multiple bedrooms, all with air conditioning, was a must for us during our June trip with two kids under 3. The owners must have kids or grandkids as there were various toys and a play area—a huge bonus for us. They are stowed away nicely if you do not have children in your group. Since we stayed for over a week, it was great to have a full sized kitchen and living area, as well as a washer/dryer in the mud room. Much appreciated for our trip to see family in the area.
