This delightful 1910 cottage has new features but still has the original historic charm and wood accents. With plenty of room for up to 8 guests, you'll find 2 Kings, 2 Twins, and 1 Full as well as 3.5 bathrooms. Gather around the dining room table or step outside into the peaceful secret patio to sit back and relax a spell. Minutes from many great local restaurants, 15 minutes or less to Sewanee campus.

Terrific visit to Monteagle, Sewanee, and the area

This is a great house! It is comfortable and welcoming. Each of us could convene together and also have enough privacy for naps and quiet time. We also were able to take advantage of local shopping, hikes, and scenery, and we traveled to Nashville, Chattanooga, and over to Rock Island State Park.The home offers nice bathrooms and bedrooms, along with a usable kitchen and dining room. We had a great time and would rent this house again and recommend it to folks visiting the area!

A fabulous weekend!

We chose the White House again for our cousin reunion. The house has everything you need it is clean and very well maintained, and it is conveniently located to the restaurants and activities that we visit. We plan to come back again.!!

This Place is Amazing!

This is a perfect house and it has everything one could need! It is completely updated with 3 full bathrooms and also a half bath, and adorably decorated! There is plenty of parking and has a covered area right by the door which is so convenient because it was hot the week we were there. We loved sitting outside in the mornings and evenings in a lovely and private garden area with a table and chairs and flowers. The layout works nicely with privacy for the bedrooms and the kitchen has lots of counter space. There is a coffee pod machine too and a big dining table to spread out on. We used the laundry room to store all our shoes and hiking backpacks since it is right by the carport. Everything is very professionally done, down to the last detail. Also, Sam was an absolute pleasure to work with! She responded immediately and went above and beyond to get us all situated on short notice. I definitely want to stay here again and book with Sam!

Monteagle get away!

We have family that lives in Tracy City. This area is perfect and large enough to host them for a night. Two restaurants Papa Rons I believe was the name and High Point. Both were great! Conrad E

Absolutely wonderful!

Little White House

We had a wonderful cousin reunion and met other family members that live in Monteagle. The house was stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The beds were very comfortable! The bathrooms were stocked with toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion! The mountain goat market is a restaurant that you really need to try! Sam was a wonderful host, answered all of my questions before we arrived, and I even spoke to her as we were leaving. We did not have any issues, and we will be back. Thank you Sam for letting us stay in your beautiful home.❀

Great, cozy rental

A group of us (8 adults) rented the house for a Sewanee reunion. The house was great! Large, comfortable (and clean!) rooms, easy check-in and check-out, and easy location to get around. Great communications with the owner.

Really, really nice

Perfectly clean. Lots of wonderful details that make this home unique and enjoyable. Well furnished, obviously a lot of thought has gone into make this a great stay. One of the best I've stayed in. Recommend it highly.

We Loved This Place!

The pictures do not do this house justice! We immediately felt at home as soon as we walked thru the door. The charm of this unique home is palpable! The rooms are larger than expected and comfortably furnished! We had all we needed available to us, although we didn’t cook. We were convenient to many delicious restaurants, a grocery store and a pharmacy. The house was remodeled and there were pics showing what was done as well as explanations! The secret Garden was awesome! It seemed like every day we were there we discovered something new about the house. I fell asleep on the couch and I don’t even do that at home! 😃 Our contact, Samantha was helpful and helped us to enjoy our trip even more! You need to check out this house! You will be glad you did!!
