Rustik Island hem sitter på toppen av revet, dykning Fiske, snorkling och avkopplande !!!!!!! Denna fullt möblerade hem ligger på Oak Ridge Key. Hemmet kan endast nås med båt från Oak Ridge, där det finns parkering / taxi / buss. Oak Ridge är en engelsktalande shrimping och fiskeby med Quint hus byggda runt en stor hamn på flera nycklar. Vi är granne med Reef House Resort, 30 minuter från flygplatsen, 20 minuter från shopping i franska hamnen.

Priset baseras på att hyra 3 sovrum 2 bad hem för en grupp av 6 gäst. Ytterligare gäst och rum är en extra kostnad.

Hemmet är en 3 sovrum 2 badhus med ett fristående gästhus med 4 sovrum och 4 badrum. Hemmet kan hyras som en 3/2, 4/3, 5/4, 6/5, 7/6 sova upp till 20 personer beroende på tillgänglighet. 2 Kung, 7 drottning och 1 dubbelsäng alla rum har luftkonditionering. Det finns ett fullt utrustat kök, inne och uteservering. Det finns en stor veranda med utsikt över det turkosa vattnet i Karibien, ett hav pool och utsikt över bergen i Honduras. Vi finns på den sydöstra sidan av Roatan där passadvindarna hålla den sval och behaglig. Det är den perfekta platsen för att titta på vilda delfiner och andra marina livet, kolibrier, eremitkräftor, geckoödlor, leguaner och ödlor.

Ön ligger på världens näst längsta barriärrev, är huset sitter ovanpå revet så att du bokstavlig promenad i havet framför huset och du är på revet. Göra snorkling tillgängliga dagligen.

Aktiviteter som finns i närheten med tidigare arrangemang Dykning, fiske charter, Jeep uthyrning, simma med delfiner, dykning med hajar, Canopy Tours, ridning, Iguana gård, tropiska trädgårdar.

Great Stay

Everything about our stay was fantastic. Jerri was easy to deal with and answered every question we had. Mabel cooked dinner for us on 2 separate nights and the food was phenomenal! She was easy to reach, friendly and helped with anything we needed. George was great as well. He took us wherever we needed to go and even gave us a tour of the mangroves. We suggest stopping at Hole in the Wall for lunch if you do this. The house was clean, quiet and in the perfect location. We took a snorkeling trip but the snorkeling right from the house was even better. We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Breeze Villa!

Beautiful home

We are reminiscing about this extraordinary peace of heaven called Ocean Breeze Villa. We came here to relax, and that is precisely what we did. What a trip

We were 2 familes totaling 11 with kids ranging from 10-18 years old. We cannot say enough great things about our expierence here. Jerri was a great host and super responsive but Mabel and George were the best. Mabel from her amazing meals to helping plan out our days made relaxing and exploring so easy. George was always around to take us by boat or just to talk with the kids who became very fond of him. House was well equipped with anything you need. If you are looking for something away from teh hustle and away from the tourists this is the place for you

We had a group of 12 and were provided 5 of the 6 rooms. I was surprised because that meant some people that were not related shared a room, but with that said it did work out because no one spent a lot of time in their room. Also, one of the back top rooms had a leak coming from the toilet that went into the downstairs room making the toilet in that room not useable. We were offered the other room. Since we were there only 3 days my son chose to stay in that room and used the main house toilets. The other thing worth noting for large groups is the boat provided for pick up was not large enough for our group and luggage so we ended up paying someone separately for the 7 minute boat ride which ended up being 25.00. Not a huge deal we probably could have waited on the dock and George could have made multiple trips but for us it was hot and we just wanted to get to the house. With all that being said none of these things ruined our trip or made it feel like a negative. The house was exactly like the pictures. The beds were extremely comfortable. George went above and beyond to make our trip amazing. The kitchen is well stocked. The reef house next

Our stay was phenomenal! The ocean view is spectacular and only a few steps to the water! Comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Staff was very helpful. Loved everything about it! It’s truly Paradise!

Friends trip from Texas

A group of 10 us has the most wonderful time here! Communication with Jerri was the best I’ve ever had with any host both before and during the trip. Mabel and George, the house managers, were able to accommodate our every need and were always available. Mabel made dinner one night too and it was the best meal we had the whole time we were there! The ac worked great in the rooms and the kitchen was well-stocked. I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful property - we’ll be back!

It was clean and nice

Jorge is super nice and helped with everything. He had dinner and breakfast with us a few times. The house is clean. Only thing I really will have to complain is the fridge not working. Doesn't cool or freeze a thing! I would really recommend to have it replace! The area is calm and have to be prepare to have to go in town for everything

Great place to stay

We just returned from Roatan on Sunday 2/25/2018. Our stay at Oakridge reef house was pretty amazing. We loved the beautiful setting right on the reef. George the caretaker was totally awesome. He taught us handfishing, took us to the store several times, filled water bottles, and arranged all our transports through driver Dave. George even found a calm snorkeling place for us because it was too windy most of our stay to snorkel out front of the house. Gina and her daughter cooked two delicious meals for us and got us some fruits and vegetables from a local truck. Nighttime was really special as we searched for and held baby octopi and other sea creatures from the front pools. The only negative we found was the distance the house was from most other activities and we spent several hundreds on renting a car and driver which we totally recommend over driving yourselves. The roads are pretty bad. This house was great and I fell I need love with Oakridge.

Peace in Paradise

This was our second time renting the little White House on the reef. We loved it so much that we came back and brought 13 friends including the 3 in my family. We took the front house and all the rooms in the back house. We were surprised that there were even some upgrades since our trip the year before, new stove, fridge( maybe not new but working great), a cold water 5 gallon bottle dispenser , air conditioner in the master bedroom. The Diving was amazing and the Reef House next door made it easy to get our Dive On! We had some members that did boat dives with the reef house everyday and others who went right off the reef at the end of the dock. Everyone really enjoyed the house and especially loved the natural salt water pool out front. There was so much life at night that came out! Enjoyed seeing some old friends like the little dog Fanna out back and Angelina from a few door down, the whole reefhouse crew and George our caretaker. Other than a rain shower here and there it was a great trip and to return again. If you really want to get away from it all, this is perfect. The house has everything you could possibly need. Thanks again Jerri for sharing your wonderful home with us!!

Wonderful Getaway Into Nature and Relaxation

THE VIEW! I must say that the porch is outstanding..... We ate nearly all our meals there while enjoying the fantastic view of the ocean. It has an unblocked view that is huge and the porch is deep to protect you from the sun. My husband and I and our family snorkled over a reef in front of the house and could see many fish and beautiful ferns and plants. There is also a shallow pool directly in front of the house that our grandchildren played in. There are lots of good places to go sight seeing close by. The house is very open and friendly. You just start relaxing as soon as you get there and take a breath of the fresh ocean air. The furnishings are very comfortable and it has a great kitchen..... I remember one meal in particular-Redfish VeraCruz made with the fish my son caught that day. Wonderful memories. The house was very clean and well taken care of and adequately supplied.. The caretakers did a great job in helping with all our needs. We were there a week and the time just flew by we were having such a good time. We recommend this property to anyone that loves the ocean, nature experiences, relaxation and new adventures. Our time there was great......

The staff felt like family and the house was in paradise

We are avid snorkelers so the water is our kryptonite. My family has traveled to many places in other countries and never experienced anything like this home in Roatan. The island itself is magical and the people are extremely nice and welcoming. This house is right on the water where you never see another person. There are giant crabs and tons of other beautiful fish. Sitting on the deck in the evening with a glass of wine, listening to the waves, and just watching the sunset was exactly the recharge we needed. However, the staff truly brought this property into an entirely new vacation realm for us. Any questions or issues were addressed immediately and our happiness and well-being were definitely a high priority. George was constantly available for any of our needs and smiled the entire time. Mabel and Gina made such great food - if there were room in my suitcase they would now be living with me! Abrian was on top of everything AND took us out on his tiki to visit the turtle sanctuary and mangrove tour for a day that was memorable for everyone. Our family has talked non-stop since we got home about returning to this house in paradise. I can't thank you all enough for helping create such a magical experience for us!

Best House Ever!

We had the most amazing 5mo. on this property. I just can’t say enough good things. Mabel the house manager took care of our every need. She cared for us like family. Courtney & Abrian helped us so much it was amazing. We now call them friends. The house is literally on the reef. Snorkeling & scuba diving right out the door. The waves crashing at night lulled us to sleep. The kitchen came with everything you needed. The furniture was comfortable and the air conditioners in the bedrooms were awesome. George our handyman / captain helped us with all our needs and kept the property looking nice. We made lasting friendships in an amazing location. A real bonus was having The Reef House Resort next door. When you want food and fun it’s right next door. Our Host was amazing. Any issues that came up were dealt with promptly and very easy to work with. We were there 5mo and we did not want to leave. We felt like the community wrapped their arms around us and welcomed us with love!! The ocean breezes were perfect. The sea pool in front was amazing. We saw octopus & all kinds of creatures. The best winter abroad we have ever had.

Condensing 2 Months in 2 Paragraphs

Well, I'm not even sure how to begin this post. How do you convey how special our time was at the house? We stayed for 2 months. We worked, played, and relaxed. We found community, rest and restoration. George (the caretaker) became a special part of our family. He was able to take us to see the mangroves, fish, snorkel, lobster, and more. We felt very safe in the house and on the Cay. Our boys aged 10, 11, and 14 made some great friends as well. We also saw a few octopus and other night time creatures using a good flashlight. We could snorkel off the pier on calm days and that was spectacular. The Reef House Hotel next door is also a great place to go to for lunch or a drink and use their pool. Jerri (the owner) has a good amount of people looking out for you and she is available as well to answer questions. We plan to come back. Just to note: The house is not in a touristy area. It will take about an hour to get to the West End area. We only went there a few times and felt like you could see all you wanted to do down there in one or two days. I zoomed a fitness class 3 days a week and had trouble only a few times with the internet connection. We did bring a WIFI extender, that helped get signal to the back bedrooms. The main part of the house does not have AC, but there was a good breeze most days. Also, there maybe a lot of flies in the kitchen on no wind days, it's just part of island life. The beds are very comfortable. We had the house cleaned once a week and most of the time they did our laundry as well and it was $40. The house was perfect for what we wanted to accomplish.

Best family vacation spot ever!

Jerri was very communicative and helpful. We arrived on Thursday greeted by our driver, Dray, at the airport who gave us some interesting facts as we drove across the island to the East end. George, our private water taxi driver and groundskeeper greeted us at the water taxi spot and boated us over to OakRidge Cay. Mabel greeted us at a beautifully maintained main house where the 6 parents slept and a guest house where the 4 young adults slept. There is an ocean pool out front where the view was exquisite! We then spent some time next door at the Reef House Resort and Restaurant. We drank some tasty island drinks and highly recommend the monkey lala drink! Played some cornhole while Mabel, Dottie, and Sammie cooked a wonderful dinner for us. In fact we were treated to the most outstanding island food all week by these great ladies! Excursions to West Bay and Camp Bay beaches were great as was the mangrove and island tour. We did some fantastic snorkeling around Roatan too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back in a couple of years!

Wow! Amazing property and staff!

We brought a group of 13 including a 1, 4 and 10 year old. The house was amazing for us! The staff could not have been better. We opted for the cooking and cleaning service for the week which changed our lives for the week. All of Mabel’s meals were amazing. The couple of times we ate out, we were wishing we had stayed in! If you dive, the dive resort next door is literally 20 steps from the house. The snorkeling from the pier was amazing as well and we same eagle rays, beautiful coral and tons of tropical fish and critters. We will be back!

Read all the reviews prior to choosing this home. We have nothing but good things to say about the people and the place. Mabel the House Manager was nothing but kind and attentive. George was also awesome. We are not a very needy couple and we were allowed to be "US." We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary while there. The natural pool out front was like a mini aquarium and we snorkled. You can venture out further if you like. Relaxing

Staying on this east side of the island, away from the busy west side, was very relaxing. We were all able to relax on the deck, watch the ocean, and soak in the Honduran mountains. The experience provided us with much needed down time. When we take vacations, it's the people that we remember the most. Mabel and Samantha made amazing meals while George made our kids laugh. They are all so accepting. Lastly, Jerri provided the quickest responses that I have ever experienced from a VRBO host. Roatan will not be forgotten.

A Special Place

This beautiful property is truly a special place. Our family of 11 had a safe and enjoyable experience leaving us all wanting to stay much longer than we had planned. The house is perfect in every way. We had all that we could ever want as far as amenities, with a big kitchen for cooking many large meals, comfortable beds, and views to soothe our souls. It was much more than we had expected, but with all that said, it was not what made our time extraordinary. We contribute that feeling to the people we met in this secluded corner of paradise. Jerri was helpful in every way while planning our time, answering all of my questions with much more information than I could ever expect. Her entire team made us feel at home from the minute we met them. Dave took care of us from the airport to Oakridge and back, along with our day trip around the island, Abrain made our Tikiboat and Mangrove Tour absolutely perfect, and the entire staff at The Reef House made us feel part of the family as they took me and my four kids scuba diving and we spent time with them next door. What can we say about Mabel and George, the heart and soul of our trip…we enjoyed every second we could with them. From Mabel’s wonderful cooking and infectious smile, to George’s helpful hands and happy demeanor at every turn, we learned about the area and the island culture from these perfectly chosen ambassadors and look forward to coming back to a place and people who have touched our hearts forever.

Island Paradise

We had a wonderful time in Roatan. Jerri was very responsive and helpful with communication. Mabel and George were very helpful during the stay with setting up transportation, checking in during the stay and giving recommendations. We will definitely go back. I wish we would have booked our stay longer there. We brought snorkeling gear with us, which was awesome to use in the beautiful water to watch fish and seashells. Roatan was the highlight of our Honduran Adventure.

Amazing Hidden Gem

Discovering this hidden tropical paradise in Roatán was nothing short of a dream come true. From the moment we set foot on this enchanting island, we were greeted by a mesmerizing blend of lush greenery, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and the warmest hospitality via George, Mabel and Samantha, that made our stay an unforgettable experience. The secluded nature of this tropical haven offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and the cruise ships of the West End. It felt like stumbling upon a secret slice of paradise. The accommodations were nothing short of amazing, seamlessly blending with the natural beauty that surrounded us. Our villa offered breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean, providing the perfect backdrop for both sunrise and sunset. The attention to detail in the design and amenities showcased a commitment to guest comfort that exceeded our expectations. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the friendly and attentive staff. Their genuine warmth and willingness to go above and beyond made us feel not just like guests, but like cherished friends. Whether it was arranging unique excursions, recommending local dining gems, or simply ensuring our comfort, the staff's dedication to hospitality was truly commendable. Our stay was nothing short of magical, and we left with hearts full of gratitude for the memories created in this tropical paradise. We can't wait to return to this hidden slice of heaven.

Far exceeded expectations!!

Wow! Where to start! This house was clean, well maintained and clearly loved by the caretakers and locals! The communication with the property owner was excellent, she was prompt and knowledgeable. The staff was INCREDIBLE! From our driver (Dave) to our personal caretaker (George) and the other impressive staff (Courtney and Miss Dottie) - they made the whole experience! We had no idea what to expect but the whole process was SEAMLESS! From our car transport, to the grocery store, to the boat transport and unpacking! They were all there with smiles! The Reef House next door is perfect! The food is great, the drinks are awesome and their staff and owners goes above and beyond! This was our group of 6’s first time to Honduras and we had no idea what to expect! This East side house was perfect for everything we wanted! We went fishing, did a tiki tour, bar hopped around the keys and so much more. WE WILL BE BACK! Couldn’t be more impressed with the whole process!

Excellent "off the beaten path" stay

The house is tucked away with terrific views and snorkeling right off the porch! Mabel and George, along with Dottie and Sammie took excellent care of us (absolutely worth hiring them!). There was plenty to do and see. (We would advise, doing one shopping trip for specific items like a special wine and otherwise leave it to Mabel. We would also advise staying in West End for a night or two if your group requires more instant entertainment and then spend the rest of the time at Jerri's relaxing. We were content to relax and there are excursions in Oak Ridge.) Overall, a great trip; we're hoping to get back!

We are a family of 3 one adult two children ages 24 and 21. We purchased the home when my children ages were 3 and 6 so my children and many of their friends have great memories of our home. It is a place to come together as a family.
We have traveled to Roatan with my children and the children and our friends, everyone comes away asking to go back. We have homeschooled and traveled most of the world over several years 3 months in Asia, 4 months in South America, many months in Europe,
but this remains my families top pick of places to go. We decided upon Roatan for many reason but one of the main reason is the direct flights to the island from the US.

There are many reason to choose this property and Roatan. Here are a few reasons why we love this home and Roatan.

- It's in a local area that is safe and the people are friendly.
- It is a place for our family to go and unwind from the city life.

We have been traveling to Roatan for years and love the Island life this house provides. I think this is best location on the entire island for the view and security of being on a cay where the kids have loads of freedom.

The privacy, wildlife viewing, the night sky, a peaceful place that allows you to really relax and enjoy nature, the reef wall right in front of the house and the abundance of wildlife.

Roatan is part of a cluster of island archipelagos situated ten to forty miles off the northern coast of Honduras. Roatan is located in between Utila and Guanaja Islands. These islands are a gem in the western Caribbean, and they are surrounded by the largest barrier reef system in the northern hemisphere. The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef is only second in size to Australia's Great Barrier Reef.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The views are unbeatable and you can set on the front porch and observe lots of wild life. We have seen pilot whales, spinning dolphins, whale shark, turtles, birds. Its just amazing.
The unblocked view is wonderful and since we are not in a large area of people the night stars feel like you could reach up and grab them. There are not many places that the lights do not disturb the night sky. The night sky from the dock is worth the trip. In our salt water pool we have amazing wildlife. You will be amazed at what you can see in the day or night.
