Thanksgiving Get Away
The downtown apartment is nestled in a fabulous location. The apartment boasted two beautifully decorated Christmas trees in each bedroom. Overall the accommodations were well received. Unfortunately, there are several items that need attention. The vertical blinds in the master bedroom are broken on both of the large windows overlooking the brightly decorated downtown. If you prefer a dark room for sleeping, this will be a problem for you like it was for us. We also experienced issues with sour linens including the sheets in the master bedroom and the towels in the secondary bath. Additional attention to cleaning, including the fore mentioned linens, and a carpet refresh would be ideal and certainly improve the overall experience. If you are traveling with younger children please be aware that you can hear the music from the quaint store below and you may benefit from a sound machine to aid in daytime naps. The music was not an issue at night due to the store hours. As we traveled to our destination, communication messages from the host were timely to our inbox. They even provided next steps to address concerns at check-in, which we did. However, upon reaching out as directed, communication moving forward was lacking and dampened the overall spirit of our trip.
