Very clean. Had everything we needed. The TV system needs instructions and batteries in remotes need to be replaced. Wi-fi was great. We were in town for graduation, The Hive was a perfect stay.

Very cute and comfortable place to stay. We came into town for a wedding so were not at the house as long as I would have liked. I was so happy to see that the coffee was available with creamer (which I had forgotten to pack), as well as a nice stash of snacks! There was also a car show and some booths Saturday morning, within walking distance! Would definitely stay again.

Cute & Quiet

The hive is a cute theme little property! We came for orientation at Tarleton and stayed here. A few snacks and waters were provided and the coffee bar was a blessing.

The Hive at Stephenville TX

We were looking for a pet-friendly stay during our move from Florida to out west. The Hive was an extremely cute, well appointed and seemingly professionally decorated stay with a large, fully fenced in back yard for our fur babies to run and sniff after being cooped up in the car for 10 hours. Will definitely keep in mind for any other cross-country trips.

Great Stay!

The Hive was a great home away from home! This home was cozy and spotless. We had everything we needed and the a/c kept us cool in the August heat. We will definitely be back!

Cozy and quaint! Close to downtown

Such a cute and cozy place. Well appointed kitchen and coffee bar. It is walking distance to eating places. Big backyard over looking the river trail!

Nice Hive

Really enjoyed staying at the Hive. Very nice, clean and homie feeling. Great parking, big back yard. The bathroom is a little warm. Also, a great lighted walk trail behind property. I would stay again for sure.

Bee-autiful home

The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Close to shopping and restaurants. The home is very cute with a perfect little coffee bar and extra amenities for a great cup of coffee to start your day. We absolutely loved the Bee themed house even had honey comb ice trays, so cute. It was the perfect place for our Beeman Family to stay. We will definitely book again when we visit Stephenville, TX.

Great Place

The property was clean and updated. There’s a beautiful back yard for a dog to run and play. We cooked out on the grill one evening. There’s plenty of seating on the patio for everyone to relax and visit. Our stay was enjoyable and the location is convenient for downtown and the hospital. We traveled with our little dog and the back fence is large cattle wire so he had to stay on a leash. We would definitely like to stay here again!

Great little house

I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the amenities. House was clean, warm (winter stay), and the beds were very comfortable. My wife said she really like the color scheme for whatever that's worth. The dog and the rest of us enjoyed the backyard. The one thing concerning us when we booked was that the location looked like an industrial neighborhood. But the location turned out to be one of the better features. The neighborhood was quiet and we were an easy walk to the Bosque River Trail and the restaurants on the square. Will stay there again, if we get the chance.

Great Place to Stay!

Traveling to South Texas we needed an overnight place to stay. We booked "The Hive" and are so glad we did! The place was spotless, had covered parking (that came in handy with the overnight storms), a huge fenced backyard for privacy, a king bed with one of the most comfortable mattresses and pillows ever, and great communication with the property owners! There is only one other house on the block and nothing worth seeing out front, but the back is where it's at with a big open space of nothing but nature and complete privacy. It was very quiet! Coffee and snacks were provided. There are several great restaurants in the area. If we are ever needing a place to stay around that area of Texas again, The Hive will be our go-to...it's a great place to stay and unwind!

Nice Place

Stay was good. However, there is nothing to clean with. No Clorox wipes, no broom and dustpan, no sprays of any kind. I felt this to be strange. We had to go to my moms rental and borrow supplies from them. Also, one roll of paper towels and one roll of TP for four days. So… bring your own cleaning supplies. Also, the bathroom gets no air and is rather uncomfortable. Other than that, we loved the backyard for our dogs and hanging out. There was access to the trail in the back from the yard, but it was too blazing hot to get out there. Super cute decorating and the beds were comfortable! Pillows are nice too and we loved that every room had a tv. WiFi worked great. Plenty of space. There is salt, pepper, cooking spray, olive oil, steak seasoning. Overall nice stay.

Cute house

It was a cute little house. Good location. We were visiting family and was able to find everything easily. Rhere were snacks, water and coffee already stocked. That was nice. I would definitely recommend The Hive, for a visit in Stephenville.

My Wife and I live in Stephenville and both graduated from Tarleton State University. We both work in real estate and remodeled this house in late 2022 in order to provide an exceptional stay for our guests! We love Stephenville and enjoy living here in this amazing community!

It is a very quiet neighborhood with only 1 neighbor next to the house. It is backed up the the bosque river walking trail providing a very unique experience. The Hive has a huge backyard and can access the walking trail directly from the backyard as well! It is a short walk to the square where there is shopping, food, and entertainment. It is also less than a mile to Tarleton State University!
