For nature lovers, our property is home to a purple martin colony that arrives in late March and stays through mid-August, providing a unique and entertaining experience for bird lovers.

A washer and dryer are available for your convenience, and the fully stocked kitchen includes all the essentials, along with a Keurig and K-cups for your morning coffee. Exceptional property

Pictures were exactly how it was. Extremely clean and beautiful location with excellent views. The hosts replied timely and had thought ahead of everything we needed and then some. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Usually in this area we are away from where we are staying until evening, but I would plan an extra day just to relax and enjoy the views.

A place of respite.

I have stayed at the Sunset View several times. I have not been disappointed. Mike and Regina have been the best host and hostess. The apartment and grounds are meticulously kept. And in season, the Purple Marlins are so enjoyable to watch! Not to mention the horses across the road and sometimes the horse and buggies going by. If you want company, Regina and Mike are there, if you want solitude, they respect that as well. You cannot go wrong staying here.

Ohio Amish Trip

The home was perfect for my husband and I. We were located close to several Amish towns and my husband was in heaven. We enjoyed the shopping and the relaxing at home. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to any family.

Feels Like Home

The hosts are great in making you feel welcome and like family. Love the place and hope one day to return when the weather will allow us to sit outside. Having the garage was an added bonus because on our arrival it was cold and snow showers. Will be sure and stay here whenever we are in the area. They are very accommodating with requests if reasonable and able to grant the requests.

Peaceful vacation

I absolutely loved my stay here . Check in was easy and one of the best things was a heated garage to load and unload your car . Also no steps on the property made it very easy to carry in suitcases, groceries etc. The entire place was spotless and the decorations and furnishings were so welcoming . I had a low tire towards the end of my stay and the owners were so sweet and filled my tire for me . I would love to come back sometime when the weather is warm to see the purple martins . I would absolutely 100% recommend staying here .

Amazing

This property was everything it was advertised as. They even have us a garage opener to park inside if the attached heated garage. Never unloaded the truck and reloaded it was easy was this.

Absolutely Best Place We’ve Ever Stayed.

Sunset Views is absolutely the best place my wife and I have ever stayed. Everything was extremely clean and there was nothing we could have needed that wasn’t there for us. Everything worked as it was supposed to and we had no problems whatsoever with anything. Mike and Regina are extremely friendly and helpful. Such pleasant people to chat with and so willing to accommodate us and to give tips for things to see and do while in town. The garage for parking was a really nice plus. The property is extremely quiet and beautiful. Almost as beautiful as the amazing sunsets. The horses across the street at the neighbors farm is a nice touch to watch too. Without a doubt we will be staying here next time we are in town.

wonderful home and Hosts

We had a beautiful stay with Mike and Regina - their home is warm, comfortable, and cozy. This was our second visit ( 2 weeks last year) This vacation home is the cleanest one we have ever stayed in. They have thought of every possible detail to make your stay completely wonderful. Don't hesitate to plan your next vacation staying at Sunset View in peaceful Amish country.

Love this place!

Sunset views is the right name! The sunsets are gorgeous, we enjoyed the sunset every night, but it's so much more! The house is super clean and had everything we needed. Mike and Regina are so friendly and helpful.

A Perfect Getaway in Dutch Valley!

We recently stayed at Mike and Regina’s Vrbo, and it was truly a fantastic experience! The peaceful surroundings and fresh air made it so easy to relax and unwind. We both enjoyed amazing nights of sleep thanks to the comfortable bed and quiet environment. The furnishings are top-notch, offering a cozy atmosphere and everything we needed was provided. The space was immaculately clean and well-stocked, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of my favorite features was the garage—it redefines the meaning of "on-prem parking"! It added an extra layer of convenience and safety that you don’t often get with vacation rentals. We also loved the personal touch of the guest book, where we were able to leave our own note, joining the handwritten stories of other happy guests. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for comfort, relaxation, and thoughtful details in every corner!

Perfect peaceful getaway

This is our second time staying at this beautiful property. The property is clean, quiet and so peaceful! The views were spectacular! We decided to stay in on the second day of our stay and cook, and we had everything that we needed. This has turned into our home away from home and we will definitely return soon!

Beautiful way to relax

We had the privilege of staying at Mike and Regina's “Sunset Views” for three nights during our vacation to Eastern Ohio. It was a wonderful place. Not only was the inside and out Immaculately clean (right down to the garage floors!) but it is beautifully decorated and very well stocked. It has Tons of storage (I kept thinking that we should stay for a much longer time) and the rooms are exceptionally spacious. Having an attached garage was very nice. The water pressure was excellent - no wimpy showers here! The front porch is a pleasure to sit on with the meticulous flower bed at your feet and the rolling hills in the distance. It is obvious that the entire home was thoughtfully planned and prepared with care. They even included USB - A charging ports throughout the house in wall outlets and on furnishings. Thank you so much for this wonderful home away from home, Guys!

We are spoiled!

Our only complaint is that this was our first stay at a VRBO and the bar as been set so hight we are sure that all future stays at others will be disappointing by comparison. We had everything we needed and many things we didn't! Our hosts not only have an amazing attitude towards guests, they have a unique ability to know what will increase their comfort and enjoyment. I recommend their property with no hesitancy!

Beautiful and immaculate in a great location!

If I could give this property a rating of 10 or above I would do that! Regina was very hospitable when we met her briefly upon arriving! We have been to this area several times so of course we enjoy visiting; however, the accommodations were above expectations! This property was the best vacation rental that we have ever stayed at and we have rented several properties in the past! We came home and shared with our family our experience and they look forward to renting in the future! We will definitely be back! Thank you Regina and Mike for such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

We enjoy meeting people, We enjoy clean living and one of Regina's enjoyments is a clean house. Taught to her by her now deceased mother who grew up Amish.

We moved here to care for Regina father in his latter years, The apartment that now is our VRBO was his living quarters while we cared for him. He passed in 2016
