Room for Everyone, Memories for a Lifetime.

We celebrated my mother’s 90th birthday here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The layout was ideal for a large family gathering—plenty of space for everyone to relax and connect without ever feeling crowded. The home was easy to access for guests of all ages, and the beautiful view added a touch of serenity to every moment. It truly felt like a place where memories were meant to be made. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Great experience

We were in town due to the passing of a loved one. Host was very accommodating for our fairly last minute booking. Home was lovely and had everything we needed, which allowed our immediate family to spend some much needed time together in one place. We would definitely stay here again.

Storm Lake Reunion

We were in town for a reunion at the Storm Lake Resort and we had a group of 9, including 2 infants. There was everything we needed at the house and only a mile from the Resort, a great location.

Family holiday gathering

Wonderful. Everything there at home that we possibly could need for our family gathering! Beds comfortable. Everyone commented on how great the home was. Very homey feel. Loved the wood burning fireplace and weather even nice enough to enjoy the outdoor firepit one day! Will be booking again!

Perfect Stay

House is absolutely stunning!(we love old homes) Had 7 adults staying for our son’s wedding. Plenty of room for all! Perfect place for groom to get ready and have pictures taken. Wish I would have known about this gem with our 3 sons were attending BVU! Highly recommend staying here!

Nostalgic venue for a weekend with old friends

This is a very lovely, cozy, old house (built in 1925) with lots of character and charm. The builder's legacy boasts superior craftsmanship with numerous unique features found in this well-built home, along with a great view of Storm Lake and the surrounding park area. We enjoyed our stay and loved the old house with updated amenities.

College Reunion and Celebration

Five of my forever besties stayed at this property. The home was perfect for our stay. We were in town to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our winning a national softball championship. The property had beautiful outdoor space for our teammates to gather for a bon fire and to enjoy each other’s company. We will be back!! Thank you!!!

Great House & Location

Absolutely loved the house & have booked for another stay! Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Was a unique house with old & new home feels. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked. Property manager was great and readily available for any questions we had. The location was right across from the park & lake, as well as being close to waterpark, BVU stadium and downtown Storm Lake.

We enjoyed this stay immensely! What a beautiful home, location, and parking! It had a BBQ and we enjoyed a nice dinner outside. The home was that old farm feeling with all the oak wood and feeling of comfort and family gathering spots. I was so thankful for the ability to be able to book at the last minute. This was such a blessing as the previous rental did not work out. The window unit ac’s were sufficient and comfortable at night and during the day. We cooked and baked and the temp was comfortable in just a short minute. I would recommend this to any family to be together. Bathrooms were recently updated and we never ran out of it water. We sat on the front porch in the morning with coffee and in the evening with a beverage watching the kids play in the front lawn. Coming for my mother’s funeral service and burial in her home town of Hanover made this stay so welcoming and comfortable. Thank you for being such great hosts and patient with my inability to work the code for the door upon arrival. However, I mastered the technique quickly! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Worth every penny!

“Home away from home” weekend

We visited our college student for the weekend & this was truly a home away from home for all of us. The home was immaculate, in a great location right across the street from the lake, lots of walking trails & playgrounds, and within walking distance to the college. The home is well stocked for several people with plenty of linens, blankets, pillows, towels, dishes, etc. W/D in the home, as well as an incredibly well stocked kitchen! Making home cooked meals has never been easier in a rental- when we didn’t have an item we needed, one was brought to us by the owner within 30 minutes. All the extras were thought of & this made for a seamless stay. We hope to return. Truly a 10/10 rental! Thank you.
