Needing a rural place to get away? This cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath house that sleeps 6 has a front row seat to the beauty of The Ohio River. Relax on our deck, relax river side by the outdoor fire pit, or watch the barge traffic from inside. The house sits within minutes of The Hoosier National Forest offering hiking / fishing and a peaceful atmosphere, 50 minutes from Holiday World, and 55 minutes from French Lick. (WIFI, NO WATER ACCESS)

The cabin more than met our expectations. It is a beautiful and well appointed home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay: the Ohio River scenery, dawns and dusks over the river, cooking over the fire pit, and the walks up and down the river including Buzzard Roost.

Beautiful setting.

Beautiful property on the Ohio river. We visited 2 state parks that are less than an hour away. We had a fire every night and enjoyed the barge traffic. Sunrise on the river was magical.

Quiet, beautiful stay- River View from the upper deck is the star of the show. The cabin is spotless, comfy, and nicely decorated.

Great get-away!

Absolutely loved this place! Great location, great views of the Ohio, beautiful cabin that had everything we needed and a well stocked kitchen, awesome firepit, and so much more! We will definitely be back!

Great Stay

We had a great stay! The cabin is off the beaten path, but that’s what makes it so perfect! Very very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. Lots of room to spread out. About an hour drive to Holiday World. We saw lots of deer and turkey on our way to/from Holiday World.

Sunrise over the Ohio River

The location of this house is absolutely perfect! Right on the Ohio River, each sunrise was different on the river and all of them breathtaking! Loved watching the barges pass from the rocking chairs or swing on the deck. Quiet location and not too far from beautiful hiking trails. The drives to the trails were also gorgeous. We would stay here again.
