This 100 year old cottage has newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. It is located in walking distance to historic downtown Batesville, restaurants, grocery stores, library, shopping, churches, Maxfield Park, and the entertainment district.

My family and I were visiting for a baby shower. Perfect location for us. Owner was very good at communicating when needed otherwise let us enjoy the property. Newley updated, fairly large for a two bedroom.

Cute little house! Easy to get to and had more amenities than expected! Thank you Earline for the fresh fruit and helping us locate gluten-free food options in the area - I highly recommend Bruno's Pizzeria :)

Comfortable and supplied

The house has a nice remodel. Very clean and the kitchen was supplied with all the cooking pots, pans and cooking utensils a person could need. It is located close to Marshall Drygoods, which was the main reasons we were in Batesville. Comfy beds too!response to my questions were quick.

Charming, comfortable, cottage!

The cottage was clean, inviting, and surprisingly spacious. We appreciated the Christmas decorations and local books and puzzle, and the home was well-stocked throughout with everything we needed. The location felt safe, with walkable sidewalks through a charming neighborhood. It truly felt like a relaxing home-away-from-home. Best of all, the property owner was friendly, helpful, and responsive in meeting our group’s needs. Highly recommend this property and hope to visit again soon!

Rental was over the top, exactly as described. More amenities in rental than even listed. All the comforts of home. Conveniently located to everything. Thanks so much to the property host for answering our questions while we were preparing for our trip to Batesville. We will certainly rent this property again.

Safe, comfortable & cozy

This was a great place to stay! I traveled alone and felt very safe in the home & neighborhood. This little house was so cozy and very clean!! I felt right at home. Checking in was a breeze. Earline had some little snacks waiting to tide me over until I got to the store. She also had the essentials in the bathroom, just in case anything was forgotten. I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely stay here again.
