The home is located in the picturesque village of Winter Harbor, a working harbor that offers shops, restaurants, bike and kayak rentals, and access to the Schoodic Peninsula, the only mainland portion of Acadia National Park. Explore Schoodicâs hiking trails, carriage paths and dramatic scenery before taking the seasonal ferry to Bar Harbor to enjoy the day investigating all that Mt. Desert Island has to offer via the Island Explorer bus system. A small grocery store is a short 5 minute walk. A 10 minute walk to several restaurants, the local 5 & 10, several art galleries, coffee shop, and bakery.

Winter Harbor is beautiful and quiet but has all the amenities like a grocery store, restaurants, and shops. Easy access to water for kayaking. Many hiking and biking trails as well
Vad som gör detta boende unikt
This house is about 10 feet from the water's edge so it appears like you are on a boat. Fun to watch seabirds and tide come and go. Especially out "front" in the Adirondack chairs. Cozy and comfortable. A family home.
