Hurricane stay

Very thankful to be able to find somewhere to evacuate from our mobile home. Place was adequate for our needs. Reclining sofa’s did not recline - no power cords! Communication with owner was almost non existent.

Close to the event

The location as great. We were only 10 minutes from the Gun club, lots of space to spread out. Only down fall was that the master bed is very hard and there are no wash clothes. We ended up sleeping in the second bed room because the bed was a bit softer.

Plusses and minuses

We were pleased with the quality of the physical facilities. However, there were only 3 towels, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash cloth; 1 tea towel, and 2 cereal bowls. We wouldn't have known how to get to the correct section except that we saw a man who told us the gate code.

Place was not clean, no utensils,

The place the area was very nice .. The unit was not clean. Coffee pot was disgustingly dirty )towels needed to be washed , stunk. There was no utensils in the kitchen. .. no paper towels ..

Horrible host

The host never responded at all when we arrived they had not had the unit cleaned. It was filthy dirty and stunk! Texted and called the host who never responded then called Vrbo direct who rushed me to cancel and get refunded so that then they were out of any liability to help me… had I not got refunded they would have had to help find a place for me since it was a Friday at 4 o’clock pretty sure no cleaning crew was coming so we were completely out of a place to stay… will never use Vrbo again… Camilo the manager would not get on the phone to speak to me and instructed the phone attendant to do what she did so they could be off the hook… ridiculous customer service and handling of the situation from Vrbo… they said the aggreement was between me and the host even though the host I only found through Vrbo NEVER USE VRBO
