Looking for a quiet weekend with nature or some outdoor fun in the beauty of the Southern Tier? You found it. Deer Creek Acres and the surrounding area hold an abundance of rural charm, scenic beauty, recreation, and serenity. Enjoy a cozy, private, fully-equipped cabin with plenty of room to roam. You are just minutes from thousands of acres of state forest, a ski resort, and Letchworth and Stonybrook State Parks. The cabin has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, outdoor grill, firepit, trails, and a wildlife pond. There is a fantastic coffee and soup shop 2miles down the road and several great dining options within 20 minutes drive including the Glen Iris Inn at Letchworth. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to offer visitors another great place to stay in the Southern Tier!

Clean, Peaceful Getaway with Nature

We absolutely LOVED our stay and can't wait to plan another trip here! The house was cozy, very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The pond and nature trails on-site offered views and exploration. We saw many birds and different animals without leaving. The closet nature trails (Rattlesnake Hill Wildlife and Stoneybrooke State Park) were fun for our whole family. The host was quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had.

Beautiful retreat

Nice and cozy cabin surrounded by nature. The cabin had a good layout and was stocked with all the essentials. Would definitely stay again!

Family getaway

Our stay was amazing. I enjoyed waking up wvery morning and seein gdeer in the fron yard. I got to see a fox the last night atayed. My family all hhad a wonderful time . I hope to cone bqck in the spring. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Great Get-away Cabin

Just as pictured; cozy on cool drizzly days with a fire in the fireplace. Plenty of dry wood to burn. Fall foliage was beautiful even in the mist; sun did shine intermittently. Enjoyed Genesee State Park and lunch in the Glen Iris Inn. Highly recommend if you don’t need lots of activity.

Great place for a group of school friends to get together. Beautiful landscaping and great location. Interior lighting a bit dim, but moved lamps around and got by fine. Overall exactly as advertised.

Great Communication + Responsive Host = Wonderful Stay!

Delightful rural setting that is close to a ton of activities. We were there for a wedding at Letchworth State Park, and the experience was wonderful. Our VERY late arrival and our inability to unlock the door meant we had to contact the owner. They are super responsive and wonderful to work with. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Peaceful and Beautiful

This property was everything I hoped for and more! A friend and I were looking for a quiet fall weekend away from the hustle and bustle of work and the chaos of our daily lives. This cabin is spotless and beautifully decorated and way off the beaten path. Stunning scenery all around. I will be returning to this property in the future! Absolutely stunning!

Private spacious peaceful retreat

Long winding driveway leading you to your very own private wilderness complete with all the amenities indoor plumbing, a/c,indoor showers,wifi,board games, books and a fully stocked kitchen with a huge table to eat meals at as well as a grill. There is an outdoor fire pit for fires and the property is huge with plenty of space to explore and wildlife to experience.All and all we had a great experience and would totally recommend booking this gem.

Weekend escape

Lovely and centralized home perfect for a country getaway for our family. House was clean, cute and had the vibe of a cabin, but the functionality of a house. One could live here year round comfortably. The land was lovely. Over a single weekend we hit Letchworth, Stony Brook, Glen Iris Inn, Silver Lake Drive In and Overland Morgan horseback riding. Great stay!

Relaxing stay

Peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable.Beautiful environment both inside and out.The only additions we would make would be in the kitchen. Brighter light, serving spoons, spatula, indoor tongs. More plates, cereal bowls, large sharp knife and cutlery; not enough for more than 2 people

Awesome house and location

We loved our stay at Deer Creek Acres. The house was immaculate. Very clean, cozy, and secluded. The kitchen was well equipped. It had everything we needed. In addition to Letchworth State Park, we also highly recommend visiting Stoneybrook State Park. The sights are spectacular. Deer Creek Acres is truly a gem. We liked it so much, we asked the host if we could stay an additional night and she graciously obliged. One small thing - the water is hard with lots of iron and a slight sulphur smell. We opted to bring our own water. That said, it would not preclude us from staying here again. We loved it!

An excellent home-away-from-home!

We stayed here with our children on a short family getaway. The listing was new; so we did not find much review when we booked. The house is spacious, for our team of 5. It is equipped with everything you may need. Appreciate the little knick-knacks used for decoration. Water is hard there, that stains the sinks and toilets. If those can be replaced that would make it even nicer. Great communication. Only aspect that made us feel a little skeptical, the owners need a large security deposit. We purchased an insurance instead. Just as they were concerned about potential damage caused by guests, we did not want to risk such deposit. We will definitely go back when visiting the neighborhood again.

Relaxing, Rustic, Rural & Refreshing Family (or Friend) Getaway

Our family of four (two older teens) rented this property for an opportunity to read and unplug before the hustle and bustle of sports and school. It was exactly what we needed. There was so much attention put into the decor (obviously deer/cabin themed) and into making guests feel comfortable (eg coffee, snacks, chopped firewood, and bottled water for those who prefer it over well water). My kids lamented the lack of TVs in their bedrooms but as parents we liked that (and there are two other tvs with fire sticks). We found the whole house fan and individual room fans sufficient to keep us cool during the warm days and cooler nights. The 17.5 acre property is definitely remote- you cannot see any neighbors and Wi-Fi/cell reception can be shoddy at times- and that is part of its allure and charm. The land itself is beautiful, and we enjoyed seeing wildlife (and hearing coyotes). We spent each night around a fire making s’mores, stargazing and chatting. It was a great home base for exploring surrounding areas (we hit Niagara Falls and Buffalo one day and Letchworth State Park to hike another; Watkins Glen was an hour away and there were wineries, distilleries, breweries, horseback riding and kayaking all around us). Sheila was super responsive. We would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

Remote and Beautiful

It's a BIG property, with a pond, trails, woods and LOTS of variety of birds. If you are a birder, stay here! Also, it's about 30 minutes to Letchworth S.P. Don't miss that. We ate in and grilled each night.

This is one of the best areas in the Southern Tier and western Finger Lakes for the enjoyment of rural life and outdoor recreation including hiking, biking, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, photography, bird watching and more.
