Clean, comfortable, classy

This was an excellent property to stay at. The shared rooms and the bedrooms were all comfortable and clean. The property host was great, communicative, responsive, and prompt. They ensured we had what we needed. I accidentally left a belt when I checked out, and she reached back out, got my mailing address and shipped me the belt. Wonderful home. I would stay here again, and I would recommend others do too.

Best-equipped short-term rental ever!

The house was outstanding in every way, but what really stood out was how well-equipped it was. The kitchen was like cooking at home: pots & pans, utensils, spices, condiments. The same was true in other parts of the house. Alexandra is a professional an it shows.

Corvallis

dining table chair set had only 3 chairs and bench. For a large house this should have 6 chairs. TV was almost impossible to use should have instructions on how to use services. shower needs old folks grab (safety) bar

Hello Lee, Thank you for your feedback. The master shower you used currently has two grab bars. We will look into adding a third under the rain shower. The house has nine chairs. Three were upstairs in the reading nook, two at the chess table, and one at the desk. The house notes inform guests that we only offer streaming services and not cable channels. We sent an email and a text message on the first and second days of your stay inquiring about how things were going. You did not respond to our attempts to offer any assistance you might need. We hope you enjoyed our comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen. All the best, Alexandra

Beautiful Home, But Frustrating Rental Process

The house itself is clean, beautiful, and very comfortable. Unfortunately, the experience with the property manager was frustrating. After booking, I was sent a separate rental agreement with different rates and cancellation terms. One bedroom was locked on arrival, and I was charged an extra 100 to access it—since we only had four guests. The listing should clarify that the fourth bedroom requires an additional fee due to laundry. Worst of all, the property manager consistently deflects blame rather than just solving the problem. I believe the rental company uses VRBO to advertise but follows its own policies, making the process confusing and stressful.

Hello Cory, I hope you enjoyed your time during the OSU Parents Weekend. I wanted to address a few points regarding your recent stay. It seems there was a misunderstanding about the number of guests. Our previous email exchange mentioned additional fees for guests beyond four, and I was expecting confirmation about your daughter’s attendance. Since I didn’t hear back, we prepared the home for four guests. Upon your arrival, you reminded me of the possibility of an additional guest, and I promptly addressed the situation by unlocking the fourth bedroom. Housekeeping reported that six guests stayed, but you were only charged for five. Additionally, it appears some house rules were not followed upon check-out. These rules help us maintain the quality of our service for all guests. Thank you for choosing our property for your stay. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please feel free to reach out. Warm regards, Alexandra
