Our stay at the Lodge was great once again! It was our 2nd stay for our annual fishing trip. Quiet and secluded area but yet close to lakes and town. It was very clean as usual. Definitely recommend staying here. We’ll be back!

We had an excellent stay at the North Lodge. Gaylynea was so wonderful to work with and so kind helping us work through a delay in travel plans due to a child being hospitalized. The North Lodge worked well work our family - it was centrally located to a lot of activities we wanted to do in the UP, it was very clean, and had everything that we needed for a wonderful stya.

All around Perfect

Clean, beautiful home located just far enough away from noise of towns. Our daughter got married and this house was perfectly situated between McMILLIAN (the church venue) and Curtis (the reception venue). The home is spacious with plenty of room and a porch to die for!

Beautiful Country Living

This cabin was perfectly located near the middle of the UP. We were about an hour or so from every thing we wanted to do (Pictured Rocks, Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, Tahquamenon Falls). The loft bedroom and bath were a big hit with our teens. The downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable and provided for amazing sleep as there were no windows in two of the sleeping areas. I highly recommend this property!

Even better in person!!

This was a fabulous place to stay! We would very happily return! The property is gorgeous and so peaceful. The kitchen is well stocked and ready to cook—very helpful for a family! We were able to see so many sights in the UP while staying at this lovely home. The house a property are even nicer in person than they appear in the pictures. Plenty of chairs and seating space both inside and out!

Great place with lots of available sleeping. We parked two snowmobile trailers and trailered to seney to ride. Loved the available extras for cooking or other needs. Thanks!

My wife, I and our oldest son left the city life in 1992 to move to the beautiful Upper Peninsula of MI... over 20 years and two more children later and we still enjoy all the UP has to offer.
Our children were able to grow up enjoying hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, swimming, 4-wheeling and anything else they could find to do in the great outdoors...

Varför värden valde detta boende

My wife and I always dreamed of building our own log lodge. After 3-1/2 years of hard work and 2 semi-truck loads of raw logs that dream finally came true.
As a builder, I enjoy being original in concept, design, function and quality coupled with our love for the outdoors we were inspired to bring the outdoors in! This was accomplished by utilizing the natural wood tones of nine wood species and the rugged look of stone resulting in a unique custom-designed, handcrafted, log lodge. The serene wooded setting of the Upper Peninsula forest only adds to the calm tranquility you experience with each stay.
If you want to enjoy the many activities the water offers, the lodge is located only moments away from many in-land lakes, public beaches & boat launches or maybe you'd prefer the scenic drive to one of Michigan's beautiful Great Lakes.

We personally have enjoyed friendships, family and quality time that is shared in the comfortable environment of the lodge. As an avid outdoorsman, the get-away experience in the woods (or nearby on the water) have always given great peace and relaxation. The North Lodge offers that same peace and relaxation, whether sitting under the covered porch, around the fire-pit or in the comfort of the lodge itself. We personally receive great satisfaction from the experiences of our guests; their enjoyment and pleasure at the lodge makes our attention to detail worth every effort.
