If you like your privacy and are looking for a quiet serene setting then this cabin is for you. We pride ourselves in making sure you are 100% satisfied with your stay. We make sure that when you arrive the property is clean and ready for you. Check in is at 4pm and checkout a 11am. If you need an early check in just let us know and we will make it work. If during your stay you need anything at all please let us know.

The deck on the backside of the cabin is amazing! We set up some camping chairs and hung out on the deck for hours enjoying the nature around us. A heard of deer visited the front yard every morning. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. There's a basement in the cabin that can double as a secondary living space, if you have teenagers wanting to do their own thing. Area was quiet and secluded.

Cannot say enough great things about our stay. This was our 4th booking with our host Charlie at the A-Frame. It is the best cabin around the Patoka Lake area. Words like quit, nature, private, and beautiful inside and out come to mind. Very comfortable for two couples. And plenty of room for a family. There is even parking for your boat. it is only a 10 minute drive to a marina, state park, brewery, distillery, and winery with only a 3 minute drive to the closest boat ramp. Don't miss out on this one! Thanks Charlie! See you again next year.

Quick and easy stay. Wish we were spending more time there. Everything was clean and easy to find. Plenty of towels and bedding. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Loved walking out on the porch to see all the wildlife that was around. Very quiet area, and was a good place to relax. Could see us booking this again for another weekend getaway!

Place is a little difficult to find but I love the seclusion. And they give you good directions to find it. Did not like the bed too much on the main floor. Little too hard for my liking but that's just me.

Was easy to check in and cabin is amazing. Spent a lot of time of upper and lower decks! Close to Patoka Lake. Had all the basics we needed but if you want to cook bring your spices. Very clean and relaxing!! Would definitely come back!!

The cabin was perfect for our party that was in town for a wedding at the nearby Secret Meadows venue.Lots of space and scenic views, it was an awesome experience.

Great Location / Private / Clean

Cannot say enough great things about this A-Frame cabin. This was our 3rd stay, with another already scheduled for September. It is quiet, clean, private, and has beautiful views! It is close to marinas, Patoka lake boat ramps, winery, distillery, brewery, and restaurants. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. There is no reason to not book this place! Looking forward to our next stay Charlie! Thank You!

As advertised. Very nice cabin, Plenty of space in a beautiful setting. Very close to 2 boat ramps, Patoka lake park, the winery, restaurants, etc. Would love to stay here again. If you like wildlife, there were deer around each day.

Patoka Trip

My son and I came down to Patoka Lake for a fishing trip and stayed in the A frame cabin. It’s secluded, quiet, clean and the view was awesome. Thank you for letting us stay the night! We will definitely consider staying again if available.

Girl’s Weekend

My friends and I had a Girl’s weekend. This cabin was perfect, had everything we needed. We rented a boat at the Hoosier Hills marina, which was about a 10 minute drive. Went over and checked out the Patoka Lake brewery. We also drove up to French Lick and had great time.

Loved our Stay

Really enjoyed staying here. We will definitely be back. Close to the lake and secluded in your own little area. Has a beautiful deck on the back where we watched the deer. 🦌

Wonderful Stay

Everything was very nice, the cabin itself and the area around it are beautiful. It has good wifi, a smart TV, and plenty of outlets in each room. The cabin is tucked away in a nice little corner and surrounded by trees, it was a very private area, which was an important factor for me. The check in process was easy, and the owners were very accommodating :)Highly recommend, would stay again!

Perfect Quiet Getaway

The owners definitely undersell this place in their listing - it was perfect for what we needed! A quiet location at the end of a private drive, surrounded by the woods, was a great location for a relaxing trip away from the city. Charlie and Audrey also provided great tips on where to rent a boat for the Lake, as well as a list of nearby bait shops, stores and places to grab some grub. We’d definitely be willing to stay here again!
