Casita Playa by Malecon, where rustic meets modern, is adapted to make your stay comfortable, practical, private and with a privileged location in the heart of Puerto Vallarta. Location, location!

Casita Playa by Malecon (boardwalk) offers one of the best locations, just two blocks away from the "malecĂłn" (boardwalk) and the historic center of the city, where you will find a wide gastronomic variety in the best-rated restaurants and bars in the area, as well as arts stores and local markets. Church, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and hospital care, less than 10 minutes away walking or by car.

** Please note that to get to the beach/malecon (board walk ) are several stairs going down as shown in the pictures. Please see picture for reference. Transportation when being dropped off or picked up can be in the upper street and that is only a few steps to get to the Casita from the upper street.

Our private transportation will be at your service for scheduled trips inside or outside of Puerto Vallarta (extra cost). Access to public transportation is no more than two blocks away (JuĂĄrez or Morelos streets). Also, taxi and uber service is available in the area.

Clean and Affordable

I had a wonderful stay at this centrally located home in Puerto Vallarta. The apartment was the perfect size for me and would be comfortable for two as well. It was clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed—from a full-sized refrigerator and stove to a microwave. A thoughtful touch: two cold beers were waiting for me in the fridge when I arrived!The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the ocean, restaurants, bars, and great shopping. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall sense of ease and comfort. When I needed anything (the Wi-Fi wasn’t working at one point), the hosts were quick to respond and made sure I was taken care of.Best of all, it was affordable. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Great place and location!

I loved Gaby’s place! It is conveniently located to pretty much everything you need: little convenient stores, pharmacy, restaurants/bars and Malecon. Check in was very smooth so was check out. I was even able to cook a few meals myself when i was there. Place was clean, roomy and had AC, which was super important during the hot weather. Definitely will stay there again!

Truly Local Experience

My wife and I loved our stay. It’s a great value and the location is perfect. The place was clean and convenient. The balcony has a view of the ocean and the Malecón. We were able to walk easily to Zona Romántica where there is great food and entertainment. There is a bit of a stair climb to the apartment so if you are not of good walking health, this wouldn’t be the place for you. But if you love to walk and experience the local culture of a place, for the money, this place is a great value and I would highly recommend.

Dog bothering

The property is in a good location, the only bad thing is the dogs at the main entrance, the owner of the property was upset when we asked him to please put his dogs away, because they were barking at us and were aggressive. I just want it to prevent the dogs to attack at us.

Very dirty and infested

It was a catfish job. Extremely dirty the microwave and kitchen has never been cleaned. Cobwebs everywhere, poor stained sheets and bedding. Half the lights burnt out could not even read. The front door is not safe. Locks broken. You lock with an outside lock. Which is fine until you get locked in. There is no other way out. Good location lots of steps that they don’t tell you. It was fine for me but was the equivalent of three flights of steps to enter. I decided to make the best of it. So I got some cleaning supplies and cleaned. I spent several hours. Problem is it just disturbed all the bug infestations. I wish I can include photos -shocking I had to leave. I sent the manager and offsite owner the appalling pictures. They both agreed to refund but nothing has come. Playing cat and mouse trying to avoid the situation.

Wonderful stay - 5 minute walk to town

The apartment was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay there. It was a short walk to the main strip with lots of restaurants and bars. From there you could also book lots of day time trips. The apartment is an easy 20 minute walk to the Zone Romantica, which has lots of beach space to enjoy the sunshine. Hosts were extremely helpful and had really good communication throughout! Would recommend and would definitely stay there again! :)
