Welcome to the #OcotilloOasis condo at the desirable Ocotillo Lodge. This complex was designed by Palmer & Krisel, built by Alexander, and the speakeasy was a former hangout for the Hollywood stars of the time including the Rat Pack. Gene Autry, at one point, loved the lodge so much he bought the entire Lodge. The Ocotillo Lodge offers free high-speed Wi-Fi & cable plus one of the largest pools in the area with stunning mountain views. The lodge also features 2 big flower-shaped hot tubs with awesome jets and laundry. The Ocotillo lodge is historical, architecturally significant located in the less-windy South Palm Springs area, minutes from downtown with the Ace and Suguaro hotels, Koffi, Elmers and more either walking distance or short bike rides away.

With only two neighbors, no one is above you and this unit has a charming private patio. The unit is centrally located to the pool, spa and clubhouse. It’s a charming 1 bedroom bungalow, styled to the nines for the quintessential mid-century life but with modern comfort. Comfortable seating in the living room with a smart TV, it’s condo offers bright colors and tons of natural light. A king-sized bed, sleeper sofa in the living room (perfect for kids or grandkids) a gas BBQ and so much more! The Well-appointed kitchen is fully equipped for a short or longer stay. The modern bathroom offers rare double vanities and a beautiful step-in shower.

Again, this beautiful vacation rental is a short drive to downtown Palm Springs, with its many bars, shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Other Palm Springs attractions are similarly a short drive away, from area casinos and gambling, to world renowned spa resorts, tennis, golfing, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

The Ocotillo Lodge is a premier “neighborhood” of Palm Springs, rich with architecture and history. It’s a tight-nit collection of homeowners who know each other and The Lodge has it’s own set of full-time residents. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” condo. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.

Wonderful stay

Perfect location just south of downtown Palm Spring, with easy access to Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert. Quiet, much better than staying at a hotel.

Great February Escape

We left 15 degree Ohio for 75 degree Palm Springs. Three days of great hiking around Joshua Tree and Palm Springs, this was a great place to stay for a memorable trip!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great except the dishwasher did not run. The maintenance man got it going but we could never get it to run afterwards. Our son even came over a tried it with no success. Who wants to handwashing dishes on vacation?

Modernist Getaway

Fun condo at Ocotillo Lodge, a ‘60s place frequented by the Rat Pack (Sinatra, et al. The lodge has retained its ‘60s feel but is well maintained and within walking distance to old town PS. Condo is recently renovated with a modernist theme and extremely well stocked.

Love Ocotillo Lodge

Gorgeous spot. We’ve stayed at Ocotillo several times and this unit is by far our best yet. Kitchen is well stocked, oil, herbs, salt, pepper etc, fab appliances and as a tea drinker was extremely happy to find a kettle in the cupboard. Bed really comfortable, tv in both rooms, everything has been well thought out. Great neighborhood, easy walk to The Ace and King’s Highway, it’s fab restaurant, where staff and vibe and food are always spot on. Drag bingo on a Monday night is a ton of fun. Elmer’s is across the road, Dutch pancakes yum, as is Barn Kitchen, El Jefe at The Saguaro is just a bit further up the road. There’s a supermarket two minutes away and P. Springs itself is just a short drive away - the art gallery on a Thursday afternoon is free entry, there’s a bar and entertainment and of course the art, it’s a great time. We had 17 restorative days lazing by the perfect pool listening to the sounds of the 50’s, pool area was almost always empty but the residents and other travelers we did encounter were all very charming. Loved it.

Renovation next door.

Nobody knew that there would be renovation going on to the unit next door. For two days we had banging and drilling happening on the cojoining cinder block wall. We couldn't make it dark in the bedroom and we never did figure out the TV remote. We never spoke to or met anyone from Relax Palm Springs. Everything was by phone message, a lousy way to communicate.

Brad and Scott were incredible, going way above and beyond to provide exemplary service. For example, they not only accepted a package on our behalf before we arrived, but also delivered so it was there upon our arrival. Also, Brad has great restaurant recommendations.

Beautiful apartment in a private location

Reviewer Comments: This was a beautiful apartment with gorgeous furniture and all the little touches that make a place feel like home.I was able to check in early but there was an issue with noise. After letting the host know, I was offered a partial refund. Fantastic, thank you.I also explored the gyn but it was closed for renovations and a temporary smaller exercise room was available but it did not have much equipment.Overall this was a lovely place to stay.
