Where else can you see bison from the kitchen window?? At Mayberry West you can! Situated on 90 acres in southeast Indiana, you’ll enjoy privacy, nature & animals. Go fishing in your choice of 3 ponds, hike the wooded trails, grill & make s’mores around the fire pits! Our farm family includes Clydesdales, Bison, goats, a donkey & chickens. The bunkhouse is located in the middle of it all! Not just a place to stay, but a memorable experience.

Our bunkhouse has all you need for a comfortable stay. Look out any window to see the animals grazing in the pastures. Watch TV while soaking in the tub or lounging in the leather recliners. Cook up some farm fresh eggs or bison meat in the kitchen or use the outdoor kitchen overlooking the pond. The espresso machine grinds coffee beans into a glorious cup of joe to be enjoyed anywhere you please.

Three wineries located within 10 miles. Offerings include wine, woodfire pizza and steak. Local soft serve ice cream 5 minutes away. Enjoy a home cooked meal at The Reservation in Milan. Visit the Milan ‘54 Museum for a look at how our small town became famous! Perfect North Slopes ski resort 11 miles away. Hollywood Casino and Rising Star Casino are 15-20 miles away. Versailles State Park is also just a 20 minute drive!

Our property has plenty of parking. We are horse trailer/camper/RV friendly. If you’re traveling with horses, we have pasture you can turn them out in.

Beautifully relaxing

Wonderful place to stay to get away from a busy life and enjoy some quiet. Property met all expectations and then some. Really enjoyed having the animals to visit as well!

Quiet getaway

The weather the weekend of our stay ruined our original plans, but the property was so relaxing. It was kind of nice just to be there most of the day and just relax. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Couches are amazing and everyone of us loved having a TV in the bathroom. We got to enjoy the company of the animals and loved them all, even the rooster. It was lovely..

Friendly Farm Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the Bison Bunkhouse. Ms. Marie was very attentive. Everything was clean and cozy. The whole bean espresso/coffee maker was a fabulous treat to have as was the thoughtful bottle of wine waiting in the refrigerator when we arrived. We purchased fresh eggs from their friendly chickens and bison sticks to cook up a lovely breakfast each morning. Mr. Brian was a pleasure to speak with while we helped him feed the bison one day as well. All of the farm animals were so sweet and my kids loved getting to pet them each day. Our main stay goals were to go skiing at The Perfect North which was easy to get to from the Bunkhouse. We also enjoyed a little of Milan at the Reservation restaurant and even checked out the Milan ‘54 museum as we are all fans of the movie Hoosiers and small town Indiana basketball in general. It was overall a fabulous mini vacation. Thanks Marie and Brian for everything!
