Requesting a refund

This place is nowhere near accurate based on pictures and the description. Jo idea how it’s able to be listed as a property to stay in. It is not clean, the building is sketchy and there’s an odd smell. Do NOT book this property. We did not even stay and I emailed the owner immediately asking for a refund. Don’t boom this property !

10/10 Exactly as it was described.

After this experience, I will NEVER stay for a week at a hotel. To have your own apartment was fantastic. It was quiet and safe. Yes, it was dated. But, we weren’t buying the place and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Easter stay

Cute little apartment with great security. Gated entrance and gated access to residence. Property is a little dated needing some remodeling with bathroom. Beds very comfortable. Location was perfect to all events in and around Houston. Owner quick to respond to requests. Would stay again!

Medical Trip

Couple of things.....please provide some instructions for the tv. Pretty pissed off sitting there unable to watch anything except on our phone. If we wanted to cook, there was literally nothing to use, not cool. No washrags, towels, hand towels? You can provide soap, but no towels? I like the fact the property was dog friendly, but none of the tenants picked up after their own dog. I would only recommend this property because of being dog friendly & being close to the medical district. Overall, a disappointment.

Nightmare

My friend and I booked this property for the weekend. We arrived at almost midnight because we had a very long drive. When we arrived, there were bats all in the entryway, People had their doors open all throughout the hallways, And there were people outside of the apartment doing drugs, and watching us. This place seemed like a brothel or illegal establishment. Once we went inside of the apartment, We could not lock the door because the deadbolts and the door locks were completely gone! There was a small latch at the top that you could use, but that was it. The back sliding door was open, so we immediately locked that. There are locks at the top of each door in the apartment to lock you inside the rooms, Which seemed very sketchy. The images are deceitful. My friend and I were so scared and in fear for our lives that we left within 10 minutes of being there. I contacted VRBO the next day because we ended up staying in a hotel. They opened a case and advised that the host would have to be the one who issued a refund. The host contacted me that afternoon, and told me that he would issue me a refund and had to wait for him to get paid for the property. However, a few days later, I get a notification that they could not process my refund, and told me to contact the host. I contacted the host, he told me he refuses to issue a refund because “it’s a business” and I should have told him by 8 PM that night, before I even got to the property. I am disgusted and disappointed.
