RiverHouse, yes, there’s a river… in the backyard… right next to the hot tub… around the corner from the outdoor shower (that works in all seasons). So unless you hate watching local wildlife, the sound of the creek, and a luxurious back patio that’s perfect for all seasons, then you should probably book here. Ok, here are the details: walk-in shower, heated towel rack, remote control Scandi Jøtul gas stove, gas grill and fire pit, 2023 top-to-bottom remodel. Get this property before it books!

Please note that Riverhouse South is 1 of 2 twin luxury suites. Riverhouse South shares a meticulously soundproofed wall with Riverhouse North (Please inquire about renting both units if you would like) Outside there are privacy fences and separate parking areas, so you can have as much solitude as possible! All of the amenities and spaces featured at Riverhouse South are privately accessible for only you and your crew! Through big mountain trees and on the other side of the river, Highway 24 is located behind the Riverhouse and you may hear cars passing.

We have a security camera facing both the front and back doors to monitor traffic. Both are outside and will be on during your stay.

If you are interested in an early check in or late checkout, please inquire on the day of your booking. We would need to hire an additional cleaner for $120.

Colorado Springs is 15 minutes East, and Woodland Park is less than 15 minutes west. The list of nearby activities is endless. Pike's Peak Highway and The North Pole are four minutes away.

Great place to stay.

Had an amazing stay. Very clean with all the essentials. The outside deck was a great place to cookout and relax. Hot tub was amazing to use after exploring the area. I would definitely recommend.

Thoughtfully Crafted

River house was exactly as described. Often, places are put together in the most economical way, but this property was very thoughtfully and well put together. Really enjoyed our time.

Perfect Getaway

Everything about this cozy cabin in the mountains was amazing! These owners truly thought every creature comfort anyone might want or need from the comfortable bedroom with dimmable lights to the spacious bathroom with heated towel rack to the outdoor deck with hot tub to the welcoming great room with a fireplace…it has it all! Any questions I had were answered immediately by my hosts! I would definitely stay here again!

This place is AMAZING.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The property was very clean and there wasnt anything that the hosts didnt think of. The little stream in the backyard was beautiful and the sound would lull you to sleep while resting in the hammock beside it. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was awesome. Everything about the place is as gogood as it gets.

Wonderful

This VRBO was amazing! Very adorable setting. Great views from the back deck. The hot tub, grill and fire pit on the back patio was perfect. Outdoor shower! Very clean and homey. The living room was comfortable with the smart TV and electric fire place. Close to a lot of activities and local restaurants. Owners were very friendly and responsive to all emails quickly. We will book again!

Great location

This property was in a great location. It was an easy drive to many activities & grocery store. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening. Kitchen was well stocked. Was a nice place to relax on back patio.

Wonderful!

Loved this property for my husband and I. Would stay here again. Quiet area, we saw some deer by the creek as well. I loved the decor. :) bed was comfy and the home had everything we needed.

Getaway

No matter the weather, this remote area has been the perfect getaway from my eveyday life. Brought back some much needed peace I've been in need of. I'll be back for sure. Host has been so prompt and very inclusive of all details for check in and check out. Everything was in order. Exceptionally clean. Felt immediately welcome the moment I stepped in.

Beautiful home and wonderful stay

What a lovely property! This immaculately clean home was just perfect for a short getaway. So many thoughtful details, from the heated towel rack to the fan in the bedroom to the stocked coffee bar. We watched deer visit the backyard creek from the hot tub and back deck. It was all so cozy inside and out. Jonathan and Keely have thought of everything and were great communicators. Excellent stay all around!

Lovely place overlooking the river

Very nice place, probably only big enough for two. All the amenities you need to pack a bag and go. Nice hot tub and grill on the patio overlooking the trees and river. Great place to stay.

Chipita Park/Cascade Gem

This is a gem of a property! With excellent proximity to everything the Colorado/Manitou Springs area has to offer, this is an easily-accessible space to relax and unwind at after a fun day. True to the advertised pictures and description, this property is virtually new and very welcoming. With all the features you would expect, the hosts go above and beyond to provide you all of the comforts of home and more. We personally enjoyed the scenic outdoor living space, the creekside setting, the coffee bar and fully-stocked kitchen, trendy bedroom and bathroom, and family room complete with games, tv, and a propane fireplace. Parking our vehicle just steps from the front door made loading and unloading a breeze. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we did!

—Riverhouse South is located in a mountain town, with little to no access to Uber or Lyft transportation. Having your own vehicle is advised.
--We are also in a forest fire area, so fire bans may occasionally happen. The timing of this is out of our control. This may mean not being able to use exterior fire features. We will try to let you know during your stay if there is high fire danger and what cannot be used.
—Our cabin does not have A/C, but at this elevation you don't need it! It stays much cooler at 7,800 ft and open windows at night keep it comfortable. There are also fans to keep the air circulating.
