A short drive to anywhere in Troy, including the University for games, graduations, etc., the cabin at That Little Farm provides everything up to six guests would need for a comfortable stay. Relax indoors and watch TV, games, or connect your devices to the free Wi-Fi. Enjoy a cup of complimentary coffee sitting in the sun room with views to wooded acreage where you may see deer, turkey, and other wildlife wander by. The Cabin is located on That Little Farm; guests have access to fishing, wooded hiking trails, and fire pit. Amenities shared with the venue visitors are located in the farmhouse just a few minutes walk from the cabin. and include a foosball, air hockey, ping pong, and pool table.
Owners are on site at the farm to provide assistance and answer questions if needed. Ask about getting a farm tour for the kids while you're staying here!

Slice of Heaven

The house was very comfortable and had everything. The air mattress on the pullout couch made this a comfortable stay for 3 in a one bedroom.The property was great! Quiet, peaceful, and full of life. It was a real treat to see all the animals on this small farm.The owners are on property but not close. Their presence was on the farm and not near the house. They were very welcoming and made the stay even better. Would definitely stay again!

Peaceful and relaxing

3rd stay and we love it. Love hearing the farm animals and seeing the new baby goats. Hosts are so nice and accommodating. Has everything you need. Close to town if you want to eat out or shop. We will be back.

10 out of 10. Everything made simple right outside of Troy. We will be back for another stay and look forward to staying at the cabin again. Great location, clean, seclusion, great communication from the owners, on an amazing piece of property.

Great hidden gem

Neat little cabin tucked in the woods that is so close to Troy. I would highly recommend the cabin over a hotel in town.

This won’t be our last stay!

This was our second stay at the cabin and it won’t be the last! The cabin was super clean, well appointed and we love the peace and quiet of the farm. Our grandchildren love coming to see us there and enjoy seeing all the animals. Convenient to town also.

Cutest little cabin

This cabin was the cutest thing! I didn’t want stay in a hotel with two young kids and my sister was having her baby shower at the pavilion that they have on the property to rent out, so this worked out perfectly. During the baby shower, the owner was outside with the animals and of course all the kids wanted a tour, so he took everyone to see each of the animals on the property. It’s definitely a hidden gem in Troy!

Birthday getaway

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing. The owners were so kind to go out of their way to help in assisting with my wife’s birthday celebration. They picked up fresh flowers and cupcakes ahead of time from a local bakery to ensure she was surprised as soon as we entered the cabin. The cabin itself was literally everything we were looking for. It was very clean, organized and anything we could possibly need was readily available. Beautiful scenery, access to hiking trails friendly farm animals and of course my favorite part of the whole property, the shooting range! This cabin was literally the best relaxation spot for my wife and I. Although small, the city of Troy provides just about everything you would need (in the rare case the cabin doesn’t already have it!) all within driving distance. If you ever find yourself wanting to just get away and relax, this is the perfect place for you! We are sure to return in the future! Thank you again for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

Perfect

Absolutely best place we have stayed. It’s literally home away from home. Has everything you need. Very clean. Kitchen has it all. So quiet and quaint but close to all you want to do. Loved the farm animals you see daily. Matt went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Angela’s detail to everything in the cabin is wonderful. I loved how organized everything was and if in question you just opened her book. Will definitely be back.

Loved this beautiful little cabin in the woods!

Our son found this (perfect) location for us on Vrbo. It was close to our daughter's wedding venue, the Lilly Rose Barn in Goshen. We plan to go back one day and enjoy all the amenities offered! We just ran out of time! The secluded cabin is beautifully built, and a very private place in the woods; the cedar wood in the cabin smelled amazing! The animals on That Little Farm were fun to watch! Our dog Lucas had never seen cows and goats before so he wondered about those "big dogs" Our thanks to Matt and Angie; we hope to see you again soon! ~ Carolyn, Jim and Lucas 11.11.2024

LOVED the farm !

Nice secluded cabin

We loved the quiet location, the clean, well equipped cabin and the friendly owners that manage the farm/property. The kids enjoyed fishing in the pond, hiking on the trails, and making s'mores by the fire.

Once again a fantastic stay!

We love this property and have stayed here multiple times. Matt and Angie are the best! I just love sitting out on the front porch listening to the animals and watching the goats roam about! It is peaceful and serene and yet really close to Troy U and the square. You can’t go wrong staying here!!!

Hurricane Milton Escape

My wife, dog, and I found this cabin as an alternative to a hotel when evacuating from Hurricane Milton. Very nice stay. Quaint country cabin on a small animal farm. Clean, roomy, and quiet. Our stay was very relaxing and eased the stress of dealing with Milton. Would recommend to anyone looking for an isolated escape.

When I first arrived one of the panes were broken in the front window. The website says it would have a grill but it didn't. Now everything else was amazing. Very private. Located on an secluded farm. Extra amenities. Very clean. Cabin had everything that I needed. I will definitely be back.

Best kept secret in Troy

Angie and Matt are amazing hosts and their property is a peaceful oasis!!! And seriously just a few short miles to the square and the Troy campus! This is our home away from home when we visit Troy! And on this trip we were able to rent out their pavilion to host the Troy Women’s soccer team for dinner. Perfect stay!

Alabama is our home even though we are transplants to Troy. We enjoy farming and watching the University of Alabama win football games. The pavilion is used to host small events and we love being a part of special occasions. We are looking forward to extending our hospitality to visitors to our community.

We enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and privacy of the farm property. We were surprised to find this in a place minutes away from the shopping on HWY 231 and downtown Troy. The property even has fiber connectivity to the local Internet Service Provider. No satellite dish needed here!
