2nd trip to Orange Beach

The condo had a lot going for it and with a couple upgrades would have been excellent. Nice location, close to everything. Pretty easy to get in and out . The moist air has taken its toll on some of the outdoor furniture and the refrigerator. Having an indoor pool, hot tub, exercise room and sauna was a nice touch. Would return agay.

Fall Vacation and Post Malone Concert

We visited Orange Beach for a short Fall vacation.Location was great. Close to everything. Complex was great. Indoor pool was great for the kids.

Wonderful experience.

The condo experience from the charismatic gate guard to the maintenance people and quick owner responses were perfect. The condo was clean and well-stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful Getaway

We LOVE the Shoalwater, we have been coming to Orange Beach for a number of years, beautiful condo, beach and experience! Tropical Storm Francine put a small damper on our stay but not too much. Thanks again!!

Nice condo and ocean front deck.

Shoalwater condo was very nice and clean. We had no issues during our stay. We really enjoyed the pool and beach. Enjoyed cornhole boards at pool. Condo very close to stores and great food. Beaches and area super clean and everyone at Itrip was super nice and helpful. Definitely coming back. Thanks

Great place to stay

This property is definitely a great place to stay! It was super clean and had a very short walk to the beach. I received a courtesy call the day after we checked in to make sure the process went smoothly, which I thought was very sweet! I would highly recommend staying here.

Had a great time with the family. Property had beautiful views of the beach and easily accessible. The kids loved the beautiful white sand and the pool. Plenty of room.

Very nice condo.

Condo was in a great location. Very clean. Bedrooms, other than master, were very small, but it all worked for our family. Would defiantly stay here again. Loved the corner balcony.

Nice condo!!!

Our family enjoyed a week long vacation in this condo. We really enjoyed it tremendously!!! The condo is decorated beautifully and has very comfortable beds. The adminites at Shoalwater are great. There is something for everyone of all ages to enjoy! We played tennis, volleyball, swam, dolphin watched, shopped, and really enjoyed the beach!!! We highly recommend this condo!

Great vacation

It's the second time we stayed here at the Shoalwater #403. We had a great time. Everything is great there. However please replace the knives. There isn't anything there that will cut more than butter. We wound up going buy a couple knives to cook with.

Great Condo!!!

Everything was clean, neat and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable, even the bunk beds! This condo has a beautiful view of the ocean from the deck. We even enjoyed watching a storm roll in. It is located close to stores and restaurants! This was a 4 night girls trip, but I’m going back in July with my family for a week. It has a very nice pool for kids and adults and also a nice baby pool. They have a basketball / tennis court on the premises and volleyball net set up on the beach. A great place to vacation!!!

Overall the condo had everything that was needed, most importantly it was beach front with a great balcony space. Perfect for a large crowd or just a few. The only complaint was the cleanliness of certain areas. The refrigerator door handles and surface had grim and rust. The doors to most rooms and cabinets had dirty finger prints on them, the area around the bottom of the toilets were in need of deep cleaning. The glass where had this weird coating on them like they were not clean, but even after you washed them they still had it.

Mother-Daughter Weekend

Overall, the place was great. It definitely served the purpose of a weekend to relax. The facilities are nice, including the pools. I really loved the easy access to the beach. Although I only worked with them over the phone, the staff was super-friendly and made everything so easy. My only negative feedback, is that furnishings and appliances are starting to show wear and tear. The sofa needs to be cleaned, and the rug needs to be replaced. I also saw active roaches that I had to kill on 3 different occasions, including upon arrival. Again, THANK YOU for a great weekend of reconnecting for a mother and adult daughter!

Not very clean

The place was not clean. Found hairs everywhere, used popsicle stick on balcony, what looked like dry salsa under bar stool, makeup on shower curtains. When we called they said they would take care of it. The only thing they did was bring more washcloths (bc we only had about 5 for 8 people). If you have multiple families you need one more bathroom for sure. All the beds need to be replaced. Extremely squeaky and the bunks did not look very safe to the bottom bunkers.

Pleasant stay

I over all had a very pleasant experience. I was not pleased with the parking at all. When I drove up to the location I was lost bc I had never stayed at this location before. There was a "security guard" walking in the parking lot so I assumed he would be helpful as to letting me know where to park, where to find my suite, etc..instead he literally threw his hands up when I asked where to park and said "anywhere" with a look as if I were ignorant.... that really didn't sit well with me. "Security" should make you feel safe, welcomed, and should be HELPFUL.. thankfully I'm not the ignorant person he made me feel I was and I navigated the parking lot and found my location with 0 help from him. Other than that we found someone's hair stuck to the wall in the master bathroom above the toiletry ( which made me worry sanitation wise), we had 1 bath towel and tons of hand and face towels (but we were delivered towels before the end of our stay) and the balcony door would not lock. Over all whomever was texting me was the most pleasant and helpful to deal with so she made our stay a great one regardless of the little mishaps.

Definitely had some challenges

First trip to Alabama for our family of 5, due to covid we couldn’t travel to our normal Florida spot. The condo building itself was great. Building was clean and no trouble getting an empty elevator. At checkin the unit itself had some challenges - dishes left in the dishwasher, fishy smell in fridge/freezer (likely from previous guests but still unpleasant), missing remote, WiFi not working, broken exhaust fan cover in hall bathroom (hanging down from ceiling), couch was gross (also probably from previous guest) and dirty dishes in the cabinets. I will say management was quick and responsive to fix what they could - we searched for the living room tv remote before calling but management quickly brought a replacement and had the exhaust fan fixed the next day. WiFi didn’t work until our last day - the process to fix it required us to call a customer support number and we were not desperate for it so I didn’t bother - sounded like it could take a while on the phone to fix. Nothing worse than driving all night to have to wash other people’s dirt from all the dishes and silverware. That and the couch is why we will not return to this specific unit... the couch was covered in stains. One looked like blood. We had to cover it with sheets to even sit on it. I think the previous guests were likely the cause of some of our issues and the cleaning staff needed to spend some extra time but didn’t. Either way the unit wasn’t clean and we have never had that issue with 25 years of beach vacations. We did enjoy the beach and the pool and again, management was very quick to fix what they could. While we wouldn’t return to this unit we would stay in the building again.
