A long winding road takes you to a quiet, relaxing and very secluded cabin in the woods, with all the amenities, where you can sit back and enjoy nature on covered decks or take a hike and explore nature. There is plenty of room inside also, with a full living room, dining room and kitchen. Fireplace in the living room for those cozy evenings and another in the full basement where you can hang out and play games, cards, foozeball or go out the door for more seating and a game of corn hole. Remember to enjoy an evening around the fire pit where you can relax and have fun with family and friends. Don’t worry about getting dirty there are 2 full bathrooms and a washer and dryer in the basement to clean up after that great day outside.

Best rest in the cabin in the woods.

Fun weekend get away

A perfect venue for four women wanting to get away and play bridge and mah Jongg for three days, visit and talk and enjoy good food and drinks. Setting is beautiful even though the weather was a tad cool.When we were there Beautiful back porch for family meals. The place was spotless.

Family vacation

We were just on a short family vacation. The cabin was in a nice area. Very clean and comfortable. Very secluded and quiet, which was great. My dogs loved all the room to run!!

Wonderful Stay

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was cozy and roomy and the amenities were wonderful. We celebrated New years with 6 of children and they loved it. Can’t wait to go back!

A couples paradise

Great property with a great location if you want seclusion. We stayed with another couple to get away from the kids for the weekend. The hot tub was perfect and the grill to cook some steaks on made it perfect. Our second visit and we will be back for a third.

Great getaway with privacy

This was an amazing rental for us. We were visiting West Union and traveling with our dog. We needed a place we could stay close by and this was perfect. Sharon had everything you might possibly need, and then more! Loved the cabin, the property (including the fire pit), and the location. If we ever have to stay in West Union again, you can be sure we will stay here!

Wonderful & Peaceful

It was nice to get away from the business of work and to be able to unplug for a couple days. The owner is always hospitable and makes sure that everything is perfect. This is my favorite cabin in the area. Perfect location and amenities.

We Love this place!

So peaceful and nice! We enjoyed the full service experience with everything we needed on site! From crock pots to condiments! Lighters towels and even some s’mores were left for us to burn! The place is huge with kids activities, games to play play pens etc. The owner was great with correspondence!

Awesome stay, this is the best place we have ever stayed. We have been going to Cincinnati Childrens Hospital for probably about 8 yrs. Never stayed at cleaner or nicer place, we love it here..

Peefect get away!

A friend of mine is getting married October of 2024 and in lew of a bachelor party we decided on a fun guys weekend instead. This property came with more imenities than we cpuld imagine and the owner was so sweet and helped out even when we accidently locked ourselves out! Definitely recommend this place!

Wonderfully relaxing getaway

Wanted a quick getaway with a friend just to relax in solitude and this cabin was PERFECT. Just like the listing pictures only better. Clean, quiet, cozy. Back deck and fire pit (thanks to our host for the S’mores !). Took a walk down the road and explored an old cemetery. Highly recommend this property!!

Cozy, Quiet Retreat in the Woods

Property is beautiful, clean, with amenities to spare. Host was responsive and quickly addressed a significant issue we had during our stay within the hour. We would have appreciated knowing the 2nd full bath was in the basement and not near bedrooms. We would have booked regardless, but that surprise was less than ideal for our group. Kitchen is small, but well equipped. Home is well maintained.

Amazing

The house was well stocked to make the stay in the woods as comfortable and cozy as possible. The location is remote so you can have some space and peace and quiet but close enough to town and sites. The cabin is so cute! Had a great time and would definitely go back. Thank you for sharing! Ps good WiFi as well

Wooded tranquility

We found Sharon's Lazy Spread last minute, and we were so lucky we did. It's located in a private, tranquil spot with a wrap-around porch and a fire-pit in the front yard. The lower deck has a hot tub! My BFF & I went for an evening and were joined, on the second evening, by some old college pals for a spontaneous mini-reunion. There were five of us, total, for a night, plus my doggo, and we had ample space and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Sharon, the host, thinks of everything! And is very kind. Book this - you won't regret it! We're going back, for sure!

The theme of our stay was, "This will absolutely do."

From first glimpse of the drive, this property was spectacular. A few hours after our arrival a storm came through that took down the power for 24 hours in the area; not us! We were only down about 30 minutes and Sharon let me know Jim was on his way to switch us to the generator! It is a whole house generator and we were even able to still enjoy the hot tub that night! The cabin is clean, inviting, spacious, and Sharon has thought of almost everything! What an amazing touch to have a partially stocked kitchen! Sharon and Jim were amazing with their customer service! (Coming from someone in the service industry!) I highly recommend this property and will absolutely be back!

Secluded Paradise

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The attention to detail at the house is unmatched by any other rental I have stayed at. The location is secluded, quiet, and absolutely stunning. From the firepit, to the tranquil porches, to the trail and creek, we had such a relaxing time. (The back porch is AMAZING!) Not to mention the abundance of towels (even kitchen towels!), extra linens and welcome basket. Sharon was an incredible host, which was obvious from my first message to her inquiring how far it was to Serpent Mound (our destination); she immediately responded with 45 minutes through gorgeous country. The drive did not disappoint. The park randomly closed the day we were scheduled to go, and we were having difficulty finding alternate places where we could hike with our pups. Sharon immediately responded to my inquiry, and we ended up having a spectacular day at Shawnee State Park per her suggestion. She saved the day. This is by far one of the best properties I have stayed at, and we will definitely book again if we find ourselves returning to the area. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable and comfortable!
