Time to unwind.

Nice semi-secluded property near the water & local businesses. You need only bring your clothing & time to have a good time. Everything was there just like home. Thank you Rex.

We had a wonderful time!

Good place to launch from for exploring eastern North Carolina. The cabin was cozy and very pleasant for the two of us. Only recommendation would be to have some sort of table inside for eating when the weather is too cool or hot to eat out on the screened porch (we used the lamp stand table that was there). We loved the place, it was fun.

Peaceful As Advertised

We spent most of our time on the perfect screened wrap around porch that has tons of charm. Serenaded by a plethora of birds morning noon and night. Inside, although small, it is very thoughtfully decorated, and the kitchen is stocked better than most large multi family homes we’ve stayed in.

Relaxing Cabin

Had a great weekend, relaxing in this cabin and the trout bite down the street wasn’t too bad either! Great place to escape and slow down!

Rustic and Comfortable

Charming small cabin perfect for two people or perhaps couple with small child (one loft bedroom but with two beds). In town but very private setting. Enjoyed bird watching on screened porch. Hope to return!

Lovely little location!

We mostly used this as a place to lay our heads at night since we were visiting family in town. I loved how nice everything was on the inside - it had everything we needed for our stay! My only words of caution is that the bed right next to the loft railing has a gap between the middle and upper supports so there's a possibility that your things could fall off (I just put pillows there so it wasn't a problem) and the upper windows across from the loft don't have curtains so if you like to sleep in the total dark, bring an eye mask or you might wake up with the sun! Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. We are coming back next year and this will be the first place we check for availability.
