Best vacation

Right in the heart of Salida, we so much enjoyed our stay! Close to the incredible activities on the Arkansas River, close to the awesome shops and restaurants of this small tight-knit community. I LOVE this town and I LOVED the Palace Hotel. Thank you so much for our incredible vacation!

Simply Salida

Wonderful property with a lovely decor and all the amenities that we needed. Location was perfect. Our stay in salida was simply the best.

Nice long weekend getaway

The property is located across from the park and 1/2 block from the river. Very nice accommodations and walking distance to dining, bike trails and shopping.

Day trip

We are from nearby Alamosa and come to Salida often for fun day trips. This is our second time to stay at the Palace. Very convenient for dogs as the park is right across the street.

Love working with Pinon and would have gone through them directly had we realized this was one of their properties!The location is EXCELLENT... walking distance to the bets Salida has to offer.The bed was SUPER comfy and the small kitchenette was great for quick reheats, coffee and tea (we were on vacation so NO COOKING!).The place is immaculately clean and even though we know others were staying at the Palace, we didn't hear noise from "neighbors."

This condo exceeded our expectations! The pictures do NOT do it justice. Much roomier than we thought. SO clean and comfy. Wish we could have stayed a few more nights. And our dogs were so happy (and they often don't like being away from home). Yes you can hear the people outside but that ended early and there was a festival of some sort so I think it was probably louder than usual (live music in a nearby bar). Not bad. We slept just fine. Oh, and that being said, the bed was so comfortable and we're picky! We WILL be back and rent this unit again. PS - location is 10/10 but that is already said by everyone. Just wanted to reiterate. And view of the park and river are so nice (very much worth the little bit of noise). 100% recommend.

After staying next door in apt 201 on a previous trip, apt 202 provided a larger and more comfortable setting. Great location for the small town Salida vibe. Convenient options for walking to food and with our dogs. The room had everything we needed, we lived the 1920s/feather motif. The room was dusty throughout on items, horizontal surfaces to include tables and window sills.

it was a great location and spacious but:they brag about triple pane windows, and we could clearly hear a local band playing down the street until after 11pm.some of the worst pillows i have ever had in a rental.tv was a mile away from the bed and tinyfurniture was so old. it wasn't classy, it was just old.overall the vibe was that the owners didn't care, and certainly the management company is just using it as a cash grab until it sells (they advertised the unit for sale EVERYWHERE, including IN THE WINDOW.) it was not rented with any sort of pride at all.
