Beautiful, Private & Quiet

This property is ideal when looking for relaxation and rest. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing, swimming, kayaking, feeding the deer, eating as family in the large gathering space and being only 15 minutes from Marathon and 35 from key west. Highly recommend!!!

Enjoyable!

We really enjoyed our time at this property, there is allot of land to explore which helped you feel secluded while staying there and the house is very spacious with a large pool. When we first arrived there were approximately 8 deer waiting to greet us, very unexpected. Throughout our time at the property there were multiple herds of deer passing through. You wake up each morning overlooking the water and watching the remarkable sunrises. It was about a 45 min drive to Key West if you are looking for a more exciting nightlife. There is a canal that runs along the rear/right side of the property to enjoy fishing however due to county work being done the canal was closed to boat traffic. We were able use the dock at the neighboring property for the boat. The grill on the back patio was brand new and we enjoyed grilling out while looking over the water. The main issue we had were the two front burners on the stove would not regulate potentially causing our food to burn, we did advise the owner of this concern. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this property for a family vacation.

Beautiful Home

This is a beautiful home with a beautiful view in a great location! Michelle is so easy to work with. I can’t say enough about how comfortable, clean, and spacious the house is. Loved the pool, the kitchen, the dock, and our personal herd of Key Deer. We didn’t want to leave and we will definitely be back.

A little piece of heaven

This property was amazing. It was a very comfortable house with each room having their own bathroom. The patio was a gathering place for the family and had incredible views. The pool is large and very refreshing. The wildlife and birds are incredible and the fishing was great. Would highly recommend for any family or group who likes a peaceful, private environment yet can get to Key West easily.

A Stay in Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. The property is absolutely amazing!!! We were able to rent a boat, rent bikes, enjoy the pool, and spend time sightseeing in the Keys. We were able to relax, spend quality time with each other, and create beautiful new memories. We cannot wait to come back!!!!

Peaceful Paradise

We loved our stay at the Blue Heron…we were greeted when we arrived by the Key Deer that made frequent visits during our stay. The view is gorgeous. The home is big with an open feel. The owners Michelle and Mark are easy to communicate with. We loved hanging by the pool, fishing off the pier, dinners on the huge covered porch. Key West is a 40 minute drive south. We definitely hope to return in the future. If you are into a rustic chill environment Big Pine Key is the place for you. Thanks Michelle and Mark for sharing your beautiful home.

Magnificent Vacation

This vacation home has it all! Location, Location, Location! So much unbelievable space, inside and out! When you drive up the driveway, you just can’t believe your eyes, you don’t know where to look first, between the home and the views. The space of this home and the pool is just remarkable. Everything a family would need and want is available! Michelle and Mark keep the home and grounds so clean and pristine! Their communication is impeccable! We rented bikes from Big Pine Bike Shop, that was fun. Not only is Blue Heron Estate wonderful, Big Pine Key is a perfect spot for every want! If you want it all, this is the place to be! We had a vacation of a lifetime! Thank You Michelle and Mark!

This house was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room for a group or family. Michelle and Mark were great hosts. Very easy to communicate with. Great location if you have a boat! Beautiful sunrises every morning. The pool was amazing!

The best property in the keys..

Beautiful property with storybook views, everything was better than listed and very clean. The home owners mark and michelle may be thee nicest people in the world! We were the tenants from hell and mark bent over backwards to make sure we had the best possible time. He works on the property with all his free time after 12 to 15 hr days at his regular job to ensure his tenants are happy.. if they will let me back i would definitely stay here every year..

No complaints at all. Made friends with all the deer. The group got bigger everyday. Seems they told all the friends and family about the great apples we had for them in the mornings and evenings. At the end we had 3 Bucks, many new families visit. Was the Best time.

Excellent house and pool

We loved this house. Plenty of room and beautiful views. We like being close to touristy things but not right in the heart of it. This place is perfect for that it’s close to key west and marathon but far enough you don’t feel crowded by people. The house has great amenities (laundry, pool toys, outdoor freezer, kayaks, etc)

A trip to remember! Plenty of space, nice layout of the house, beautiful view! Of course the key deer were a bonus we didn't fully understand until we interacted with them. Totally unique experience! Perfect property for a quiet family getaway

This was a family vacation with 3 adult couples, two 6 year olds and one 12 year old. The property was great for lots of kid activities- basketball, swimming, fishing and the kids brought scooters to ride under the house. Never got to use the kayaks but that was always an option. The house layout was perfect with a nice stocked kitchen and large open living area and plentiful bathrooms. We were 45 minutes from key west where some of the adults got to have a day trip. Marathon is also not far. It was also fun to see the iguanas and the deer. Michelle was great to communicate with and it was like we had our own separate island!
